  1. If it's inside, then the simplest thing to do first is give it a thorough clean with a very good glass cleaner once a week. You'd be surprised how much mist and gunk accumulates during a week of driving; especially as autumn and winter set in!!! I find the ZX's ventilation system is normally very good at demisting the inside of the screen; much better than my Merc!!! I do also keep the a/c on all year round too - which helps as it acts as a dehumidifier. You could also treat the interior glass with a good demist agent - Bluecol works well for me; don't bother with Rain-X as I found that just made things worse!! Outside, give the glass a clean with methylated spirit - along with the wiper blades - and then once again polish with a high quality glass cleaner once a week. My favourites are Autoglym Fast Glass, Meguairs Perfect Clarity or Mer - the last 2 also contain limited anti-misting agents to help stop the interior steaming up. Richard:cool:
  2. heh heh - very true matey.... Or as my wife says, I'm just a miserable c**t.....
  3. Ahem - sadly, it was this year.... Exactly Steve - JAE, Zedfest, Japfest etc come and go every year. Whilst we can have a bit of an extra promotion of the Z32's silver anniversary at each event next year, we do intend to hold a separate, stand-alone event just to celebrate the marque's 25th..... Richard:cool:
  4. Just my initial thoughts mate, I don't mean to sound negative..... I am all for the club doing some charity work; and hopefully it should also bring a few members together for a good cause as well:wink:
  5. Heh heh - my thoughts too..... .....I had memories of Hammond's Mini on the Top Gear India special....
  6. Interesting......... .....Looks like a single turbo conversion with one inlet manifold...... Richard:detective:
  7. LOL - before I read further down, I seriously thought you must have been on the beer mate..... Richard:biggrin:
  8. ^^^^ Very good advice there Steve:bow:
  9. Nice idea Harby - anything to help the good folks who do a great job defending our country is a winner in my book mate:thumbup: I do feel that Lexx has a point there though - not to mention that a sponsored drive is actually going to cost people money with a tank of fuel running in at almost £100 for a 300zx; which is good for about 250-300 miles........ By that rationale, some might be better off just handing the fuel money over to the charity instead of fuelling their car to participate in the drive. Sorry if that's negative - I was just thinking of the other side of the coin:boat: Richard:flowers:
  10. Good luck Anthony.... With £70k turnover and 38% GP, that would have only left £26-£27k to cover overhead expenses and your wife's own wages; so I hope the new figures stack up mate!! As said, do feel free to call me if you'd like any advice:wink: Richard:thumbup:
  11. Welcome back Rich - and thanks for your support mate!! Richard:thumbup:
  12. Feck - I must have been drunk when I agreed to this..... But welcome back Si; and thanks for your support.... Richard:death:
  13. Nice 'vert and the winner got it for a good price..... .....Not the car for our Stella though; he's got a family and will need a 2+2 nowadays....
  14. Indeed - one Euromillions jackpot win and I'm placing my order...... Richard:drool:

  16. LOL - I didn't by the way....
  17. I thought it was all UK/EU spec cars regardless of year - not sure about JDM cars though..... Richard:detective:
  18. Many happy returns Chris - have a great day mate! Richard:happybday:
  19. Many happy returns Mike - wherever you may be mate!! Richard:happybday:
  20. Ahhh - I thought I recognised the car from the other thread about it being up for sale!! Sounds like it could possibly be a car dealer (or at least a part time trader) looking to move it on for a little extra profit....:shifty: Richard:detective:
  21. Nice thread Gary - thanks for sharing mate....!! ....And thanks to Steve for the additional input!! Didn't the company used to advertise in the old Z-club magazine? I seem to remember the name from somewhere.... Richard:thumbup:
  22. If you're buying an existing business, do make sure you investigate the financial side fully before taking the plunge. Get a good accountant on board to conduct a due diligence to ensure you stand a good chance of recovering your investment..... Maintaining the books is easy, depending on the size and complexity of the business... Then I would say that having once been a tax manager in an accountancy practice - although I have been away from public practice for 9 years now:wink: I'll PM you my number if you would like to discuss it sometime, Good luck Anthony, Richard:thumbup:
  23. Yup - seconded.... Nice work Jimmer - as ever mate.... Richard:thumbup:
  24. Don't knock it guys - those Ferrari wheel centre caps must add at least 100bhp extra......
