  1. Sorry to hear that Mandy..... I hope you feel better soon though..:flowers: Richard:)
  2. Welcome back to the fold mate!! Richard:cool:
  3. Many happy returns mate!! Richard:thumbup:
  4. LOL - just crazy.....
  5. Seconded - I thought what Groover said above.... ....Hope it's all fixed now; like Si says...:clover:
  6. Not at all Chris..... Pop a thread up with what you have, now - and even if you're selling, you're still a subbed member - so suggest that those in attendance on Saturday might want to collect. Simples...
  7. Agreed - hell; even it you chose your own body shop, the guys would have gotten paid to restore the car back to it's pre-accident condition. If they failed, then it should go back as many times as it takes for them to do a proper job......
  8. Many happy returns Bryan!! Richard:thumbup:
  9. Yes, yes and yes.....
  10. Sorry to see that mate - whilst the car might well be repairable, I'd probably let it go and buy another.... .....And if it were me, I'd probably have wished I'd hit the Focus with hindsight... Good luck in whatever you decide mate; but above all, I am pleased you are OK and walked away from it intact. A car can be replaced, but your own body parts are harder to fix..... Richard:clover:
  11. Agreed - except I wasn't there myself...
  12. PMSL.... only in Oz.... But back to the question - and I don't mean this in a negative way - but why bother with anything else than a normal cat-1 alarm/immobiliser system? Our cars are insured; and if anyone was hell bent on stealing the car, then it would not matter what security you had, they would find a way around it.
  13. In an instant!! It's good to see you green again Trish....
  14. No Steve, this is..... Oops, wrong thread....
  15. Good call Gaz..... I thought I'd go for this one after....well.....you know:wink: Richard:wacko:
  16. Yeah - get a proper 'phone instead of that Apple rubbish.... disclaimer - my comments about the i-Phone and the Apple Corporation are purely my own thoughts; and completely unaffiliated with the 300zx.co.uk club in any way, shape or form.....
  17. Go for renewal Tulip.... You were a subbed member once... And thanks in advance for your support:flowers:
  18. LOL - I know they don't Kev.... Although as far as I remember I don't think you are one of those folks who need to be watched after a drink or two.... Take it easy mate; Coventry is a week away, we'll have a chat next Saturday...
  19. Whoa there!!! My twopennorth - no sides being taken, no people being singled out, nobody being quoted (not even my committee or moderator colleagues) - just my twopennorth as an individual who has just read this thread..... Whatever you, me, Silverline or Vodkashots think about this matter is purely our own opinion. Nobody apart from Silverline and Vodkashots themselves know EXACTLY what has transpired between them - so anything anybody else thinks (me included) is based upon what we have heard from whoever has told us their side of the story. And as humans, we always tend to make up the other, unknown, side in our minds.... Yes, it sounds like I'm sitting on the fence; and that is precisely because I am on committee and must remain impartial, for the good of the club, no matter what my personal view is. But please - we're all grown ups here. The only people who have the right to be angry are the very two involved in the deal in the first place - just because you, me or him have differing opinions, it is no reason to chuck toys out of prams. The club has stepped in to mediate as far as it's possible to do - the two parties have been in contact, an offer was made, an offer was refused. It's between them - and certainly none of my personal business as to why talks have broken down. It's the kind of thing I might deal with every day at work - albeit at work it is on a bigger scale, it's business, it's real and in front of me; oh yeah - and I get paid for it... But this club is primarily internet based; and if you ask 100 people on the internet their opinion, you will get 99 different opinions (the other guy was too busy watching porn to register his view). I think it's a very sad loss if Silverline walks away - I think it's a sad loss if Vodkashots decides to step down as a moderator after his contribution to the club over the years. I know both guys have made many friends from the forum over the years; but I think it's far sadder if anyone else walks away in protest over an opinion they may hold based on knowing circa half of the facts..... Peace out brothers..... Richard:flowers:
  20. Sorry to hear that Steve. I have nothing else to say to you, other than what everyone else has said above. This is one incident; with one person - and certainly not worth leaving over; the door will always remain open mate. Richard:sad:
  21. PMSL....... ....At all of this thread....
  22. Agreed - and just to add to Gary's comments, it is right to close this thread now; more pertinently because the two parties concerned are now back in contact over the matter and hopefully will resolve it between themselves. Consequently it is not right that everyone else not involved in the issue should continue voicing their personal views on the situation, whilst Silverline and Vodkashots try to sort things out:wink: But once the matter is concluded then, with the consent of the guys concerned, we will let everyone know how it ended! Richard
  23. Looking good Nick..... .....And seconded Gaz....
  24. As said above - welcome back to the fold Tubz.... And thanks for your support. Here's hoping 2014 works out for you.... Richard:cool:
  25. Have a good one Mikey!! Richard:thumbup:
