  1. Hey Phil - glad to hear you still have it; and are considering bringing it out of hibernation........ ...... And I agree with the above 100% Richard:thumbup:
  2. Unless I would already be in the vicinity, it's a little too far for me also......

  4. Some (ahem) of us know that - so we deliberately act obtuse and STILL do bugger all.... As for the washing up issue, we men just go and buy a dishwasher. Suits us both.....

  8. Just Saturday for me matey; 10 until 3-ish.....
  9. It's always going to be a chance one has to take when exhibiting in such a public location - the thing is, do you decide to participate or don't you? On the whole, from what I saw, the passing public were pretty impressed with the cars on display. Some folks visiting the museum even had the courtesy to ask whether they could take photos of the cars - but I did not spot any visitor to the location posing a threat to any of the cars on display. Someone will, no doubt, correct me if I'm wrong!! Richard:cool:
  10. Great pics Andrew - thanks for sharing mate!! You also took the same photo of Ceejay's car and his wares on display, as I did... I thought I was the only one who'd do such a thing... Must download mine now... Richard:thumbup:
  11. It's a "yes" from me - although I think we should vary the location a bit.... .....But the idea of a 300zx show at a similar location - where there is another attraction aside from the cars - is a great idea! Richard:cool:
  12. Cheers Lee - I was sure you recommended it a while back.... I used it on Julia's black Rav-4 today; and so far I am impressed!! It goes on and comes off as easily as an everyday wax - it has left the paint with a really deep wet-look shine; not to mention silky smooth to the touch.... Hell, if it lasts even half as long as other sealants, I'll be happy. I barely dented the quantity in the bottle - so I could just as easily apply another coat the next couple of times I clean the car(s)... Richard:cool:
  13. Bloody hell Graham - that's a damn sight worse a day that I thought mate!! After we spoke yesterday morning, I had it in my head that the RAC would roll up, drop you onto the next available ferry, and another patrol would await you at the other side.... As ever, life is never so simple - I am glad you are home now though; but what a fiasco.... Speak soon mate, Richard:clover:
  14. A sad loss - RIP James AKA Jim Rockford...
  15. And not to forget the Car of The Show results..... Well done to Roobarb (Mandy) for winning, with her superb genuine 99-spec TT manual; followed very closely by the runner-up, AndrewG with what is probably the best UK spec TT manual you'll see!! Congratulations!! Richard:thumbup:
  16. Ditto.... Great to see you there Mandy; and congratulations on winning Car of The Show...
  17. LOL - what are you insinuating mate....
  18. Roobarb came first; with AndrewG as runner up.....
  19. Nice pics folks - and Dave, I just knew I recognised your car..... Damn shame we did not get to chat today; next time I guess:wink:
  20. LOL - you were driving too slow Steve..... I scraped into Warwick Services on the way home today - 312 miles from the last fill-up and the fuel light had been on since dropping Gary and Lee off at Brum Airport!!
  21. Hope you get there soon Gaz..... I knew I should have filled up with fuel earlier - so after I left you at Brum, I took it very steady so as to make it to Warwick services. Which I did with just fumes to spare - however once I was back on the road, it was dry and sunny-ish all the way back home. As I had a full tank, a clear run and a happy ZX, I was home bang on 6... Great to see you again mate! Richard:cool:
  22. On behalf of the committee, The 300zx.co.uk Club would like to say a few words of thanks regarding the 25th Anniversary Show today!! First and foremost, A very big thanks to Lexx for all his hard work in organising the show - great work mate; you really did the club proud!! Thanks also to those who helped out on the day with parking, and marshalling duties; cheers fellas, you know who you were:wink: Thanks to all the club's traders who donated the raffle prizes - and a special thank you to Steve Burns; who won the first prize (Zedworld's one-piece prop) and promptly gave it away to auction, in order to raise more funds for the raffle's cause. As a result, an extra £110 was raised for the breast cancer charity. But the biggest thanks goes to everyone who attended - despite the on-off rain, it was still a great event and I think the club paid proud homage to the 300zx!! Thanks folks - you made the day a true success!! Sorry I could not get around to meet everybody myself - but I hope you all had a good time!! I'll get my pics up later... Richard:thumbup:
  23. Just about to leave for Brum Airport to collect you and Lee!!
