300ZX for photoshoot next week
Nice one Si - as soon as I saw the words ".....a white 300zx.....!" I just knew it would be you....:clover:

Another little gem
It does indeed - great find there Gaz!!

Tiling a garage floor
Indeed - given the time and dedication, I would do that.....

Hands up........
.......Who would kill this b@stard and shove his own balls and c0ck up his dead @rse........ https://uk.screen.yahoo.com/road-rage/man-caught-dashcam-keying-100k-135500957.html Be honest now - I know I would....

What did you do to your zed today?
Agreed - it's looking mighty fine matey!! Richard:bow:
-
Tell me again how you don't like the Z31...
I agree there Andrew.... ....I liked the Z31 as a teenager back in the day - especially after Bruce Willis drove one in the movie "Blind Date!" The Z32 was still in development stages - and Toyota came out with the Mk3 Supra which, despite a similar "1980s Japanese interior," was a far superior car to the Z31 in every way...! Nonetheless, it is a fine example; just not for me. Richard:cool:

Simply Japanese.
The falconry display was indeed pretty good Ian - great shots there mate!

F***ing Breakers!!
- picked up my old new zed today
Good luck with the new project mate..... .....And do keep us updated with your progress! Richard:clover:- Small rad at front?
You're welcome mate - that's what I did. Took me about 1/2 hour, plus a few minutes topping up and bleeding the PAS system...... ......Plus another 15 minutes washing away all the spilled PAS fluid from the inside of the undertray:wink:- 300zx TT Strosek
Yup - what he said.... Welcome to the club mate; and that was always my favourite wide-arch....- F***ing Breakers!!
Yup - my thoughts too mate...:clover:- Show Plates
I liked Joel's show plates from Simply Japanese the other weekend..... .....Awesome...- JaiKai - Purple zed named
LOL - although how about spelling it "reign" because it's the king of the road.....- New shoes
Yup - leave them be mate! Coloured wheels can and do often look good; but on any colour car, you cannot beat the clean, simple "alloy" colour...- New wheels on the daily car....could look good on the Z
Indeed - they suit the black car very well..... ....Modern cars certainly look (and function) well on larger rims; 19s are becoming pretty commonplace on exec and sports cars of the moment!- JaiKai - Full rebuild & Respray
What he said...... ......Especially the emboldened bit! You don't necessarily have to bother with jacking the car to an angle, but everything else Brian says is 100% the way to do it. I watched JeffTT do the very same to my zed after replacing the waterpump. It took ages to refill the system properly - and don't forget to top up the overflow tank as well. Jeff did tell me to check it again after I had driven (100 miles) home - after letting it cool down of course - and I still had to top it up a little, but not more than 1/2 pint. The car never got hot during the trip; nor did there appear to be any air locks.- What up with this picture ?
Not sure - but I don't remember there being that much available space to be able to reach the viscous fan bolts....!- A village full of Nissan's finest...
LOL - what he said.....- Alternative Auto Gear lever
For what it's worth, I prefer the OEM auto-shifter...... ......As long as it's the later spec leather covered one! Unless you plan on completely changing the shifter set-up entirely, for something a whole lot more modern (like on the new Audi/BMW/Mercs, with a leather gaiter)...- Small rad at front?
Yup - what Andrew said...... ......And if it your PAS oil cooler, then my advice is don't bother! Typical Nissan over-engineering; I mean how many cars have ever suffered PAS fluid overheating? Exactly! Remove the little rad completely and join the two ends of the hoses together (securely - the PAS fluid runs at a fair pressure). Job done; as you'll probably never find a second hand spare one in decent condition. Its very position means that after 21+ years at the very front of the car, exposed to the elements, they'll all have rusted to bits...- Happy Birthday dmaprelude
Many happy returns mate! Richard:happybday:- Tickling noise
Yup - I'd agree there.... .....Start with the simple things first. Good luck my friend, hopefully that will cure the problem:clover:- What did you do to your zed today?
Yup - great modification.... Makes one hell of a difference...- Introduction
Hi and welcome Stu... You'll find plenty of help and advice on here - along with a few good traders who can source parts for a 300zx. And if it's a TT you want, then buy one from the outset - it will cost you more in the long run to buy a cheap NA and convert it:wink: Richard:clover: - picked up my old new zed today
