How much for Zedworld to fit a new clutch?
Yes it includes a new clutch. Labour wise on it's own i think is around 250 mate smithy

where exactly do the targas drain out .
If you take of your side repeaters and look inside you can see where the drain pops back inside the car again, pull it off, fit a plastic elbow, fit some new 10mm tube and you can push it down so it comes out further forward of the existing and as low as you want. This keeps the drain to just inside the wing and not the cars interior but also can be routed to exit where you like underneath. Took me 20mins a side. smithy

Do I need remap or it is enough ?
You've been told this from your other 2 threads mate, your boost controller is what sets/limits the boost. The chip may have been set from a car running 14psi when it was created. Yes bigger aftermarket turbo's will make more bhp and torque at the same PSI as a stock turbo. Smithy

Remapping
Gain is just how quick the car makes boost, set the limit for your boost first, then dial in the gain bit by bit until your happy at what speed it is hitting boost. Not that am an expert at these but would expect a gain of near 50 smithy

Remapping
So it ran 1.2 bar on stock injectors? if so that's nuts! The chip won't limit the boost to 14psi and no more, how much you run is up to you. I would expect the chip was done based on 555's running around 14psi. You do have a boost controller don't you?? assuming you do, that's where your boost level is determined. smithy

Remapping
So you wanna pay around 500 bucks knowing it could go bang any time even at the rollers, rebuild it and no doubt us ethe chance to change other performance parts and poss need mapping again? Just pay a 100 quid max for the right chip and enjoy it for as long as you can. smithy

Remapping
As i said in your other thread last week with teh spec below you have, a chip is the quickest and cheapest option and entirely suitable. A mapping session yes will get you a bit more but 500 odd quids worth, i don't think so. John Dixon has a few variations of his 555 chips to reflect the varying types of turbo's, but with a completly stock engine and the usual bolt on parts you have your not really different to many others. It's your money but for mapping you won't get much cheaper than you have already quoted. Oh and personally as your block is stock and you have no idea if it's ever detted in it's past history, i wouldn't run 20 psi, IMO that is. smithy 555cc injectors Power enterprise turbo kit Hks intercooler 2,5 inch elbows with 2.5 inch exhaust Stock engine with 63k mileage Rps clutch Light weight crank pulley Plus other small bits.

HELP! dodgy pipework or mod to turbo
Whilst that is correct what Jimmer said, for those that run aftermarket bigger or different branded turbo's, in many cases water feeds must be connected. In fact good ole SE Nissan from years ago seldom did. Check with turbo manufacturer or supplier if in doubt with aftermarket tubs. When companies send out turbo's depending on which type/brand it is, they will often put a notice with it stipulating water feeds must be connected. Just didn't want to see peeps think this applies to ALL turbo's. cheers smithy

what's involved in changing a 1990 NISSAN 300ZX TWIN TURBO gear box
Contrary to belief, the Auto box is relatively a strong box, many in the US favour the auto's and some have high power through them! It all comes down to the auto boxes previous history, auto's generally take some looking after and servicing, fresh oil and filter etc. Assuming this has been done like any other auto car, the box should last a very long time. If you've an auto box to wap in, service it first and have it checked by an auto box specialist if need be, auto boxes can be had quite cheap! Expect a morning to swap a box over yourself or about 200 quid ish from any half decent garage. smithy

Bent ! ..... and to say thanks to ( Sayers - Neil )
On the other hand though, be thankful you didn't buy your turbo's from a company in the US as many do. Can you imagine the ball ache, cost of sending back to said company, they send back to their turbo company, your 1000's of miles away and it comes back no fault of turbo, you have to buy another and have it shipped back. Time wise in total say 3 weeks plus? I was previously an authorised supplier of TD turbo's and had a very similar problem with a customer, TD with their very expensive and vast equipment will show pretty much why it failed and with new turbo's from most companies, 99% of the time it's either fitting or previous engine fault. In this case the garage Option motorsport admitted not checking oil pressure and non contamination before the oil feeds thus destroying one of the new turbo's. Something you really should do before fitting new turbo's on any car to ensure future reliability. Good luck and hope it all finally pans out for yer fella! Smithy

For everyone who has read the SHERRGAR thread
Yikes, think you better try specsavers mate lol the guy stated that the COMPANY responsible even posted pictures of what he had previoulsy ordered on his older thread, a quick pop over to the "other" thread shows pictures ONLY from Zedworld. Needless to say many would assume that they had not only done wrong by this guy but also teased him by showing pics of his ordered product! Thats that bit sorted, the next was saying he got confused, hmm seeing a post clearly from Zedworld who have nothing to do with the case in hand, yep easy mistake, not! All cleared now though which is the main thing, however have seen mistakes before seriously damage a companies reputation and in this case someone who logged on and read that 1st bit, but then never seen the mistake cleared up later on when logging on say a few weeks later, well the answer is obvious eh............ smithy

Need advice
Yep you will overfuel very badly, simply fitting a 555 chip will solve that in an instant and make the car very driveable and allow use of the other support mods you have. Then when you have both the funds and time you can book yourself into a suitable garage to have the ECU remapped. Chips often come up for sale here and quite cheaply too! smithy

upset / peed off / feal sick
No worries mate, good to be preparred. As in pressure though i meant at the point at the back of the block where the oil feeds come from just prior to fitting the new turbo's. Good luck anyways fella. smithy
-
upset / peed off / feal sick
Once you send the turbo back, the tests they do can determine fault of failure and generally will ask what pressure Oil was coming out of the block prior to oil feeds and with ball bearing jobbies what size reducers were in the oil feeds and in the case of water cooled turbo's confirming that water feeds were fitted. Be honest cos their tests will show whats what! Just so you can be prepared for what maybe asked mate. smithy
