  2. Anyone with experience of Coilovers, would you know from the list below which coilovers ( with adjustment if need be) will give as near "stock" feel to the ride, IE: not a harsh ride. Top Secret, Aragosta, HKS, Cusco, Tanabe, Bilstein, Ohlins, Tein Please let me know what you have and the type of harshness if any compared to stock. cheers smithy
  3. More importantly, the correct one! Hope it all works out well though bud. smithy
  4. As Lymon says and it's pretty straight forward. On mine i removed the original temp gauge sensor and re threaded the hole, took about 10 mins to do once the pipe was off, welding a new boss on there should you wish take a metal work shop no more than 30 mins once the pipe is off, so either is not expensive at all.. smithy
  5. Nah mate, i put the 99 spec FRONT lights on instead and man are they bright :D cheers smithy
  6. Doh yer close. I was doing about 5 mph. No photoshopping though, it's to do with the camera and it's settings. cheers smithy
  7. Thanks guys :D Just another pic but different angle of the wheels spinning, looks kinda cool :D Steve will get back to you later this morning, but all is no problemo.... smithy P.S, Can anyone guess just how fast I was going when the pic was taken ?
  8. Electric fan should kick in around 85 degrees, I think the standard sub fan kicks in at around the high 90's if not a 100 when it senses overheating and average temp is 80 degrees, certainly mine in summer is between 76 and 80 and in winter between 72 and 76ish. Don't forget idea is the fan only kicks in when temps are higher than normal but not abnormally high :) smithy
  9. Playing with pics of me Zed and I deffo think the new do-lucks suit her well :D More so when spinning fast, lol cheers smithy
  10. It's for the 350Z big brake kit, however the fitting is exactly the same :) http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/104050.html cheers smithy
  11. If the car backfired whilst starting it often relates to the car over fuelling and caused by the ECU temp sensor being fooked or grotty connections, hence why it started 1st time when you cleaned the plugs, just something to bear in mind  smithy
  12. Nope, the only slight exception to this is if we bring a car in from the UK and register it here, if it's more than 3 years old, it has a car test similar your MOT's before we can put Manx plates on it. In fairness the standard/condition of cars is quite good, small island and shit loads of garages, lol cheers smithy
  13. Pleased for yer mate, glad we don't have the worry of these MOT things over here :D cheers smithy
  14. Thanks Greg :) Yep my rule of thumb for supplying new clutches, and i've supplied a couple hundred now :D is if staying with 4 bolt tubs and standard injectors, the Sport will happliy do yer, 5 bolt tubs upwards and bigger injectors, then the Max series. Clutch selection http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/clutch.php Hope that helps cheers smithy
  15. Was just in the process of doing it bud. anyways onto the fuse covers, fraid am all out at the mo, should have more in a couple weeks though, just in time for the July shows . cheers smithy
  16. Am sure he works for Coz now mate or at least someone with the same name does  smithy
  17. Fraid not Dad :D just google "open ended lug nuts" lots of the big performance dealers sell them and often in various metals and colours. cheers smithy
  18. Generally if the holes are really narrow ( as mine are on my do-lucks) you use open ended lug nuts which take an allen type socket in the end. smithy
  19. Yep and no other problems, the alarm must be armed in order for engine to start though. smithy
  20. Pretty much, however performance wise will be very small on stock or Hybrid T25's, it's only when you jump up the turbo size scale you really benefit :) (5 bolt tubs upwards) smithy

  24. Mine are the greg dupree range of super splits bud. Am not aware of anyone in the UK who manufactures 5 bolts turbo pipes for our car, due to lack of demand i would assume. Think Jaffa posted he had some 5 bolt greg dupree super splits that he may sell if Mikael or anyone else is interested. smithy
  25. AVCR doesn't either when the battery is disconnected either ;) smithy
