  1. Thanks fella :thumbup1: The bumper and skirts come from aeropalace, click the sports section to see the selection http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://www.aeropalace.co.jp/&ei=uWxlS4H9I5S_4gbK5oHeBg&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CAkQ7gEwAA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Daeropalace%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1T4SUNA_enGB234GB234 cheers smithy
  2. Just so we understand the problem now and forgetting what codes your getting for a mo. The car NOW drives fine generally but when pushed it pops and bangs etc ? Any other problems/symtoms? smithy
  3. I think yer mean fookin nuts mate! must have suspension as hard as a brick... Each to their own eh i guess. smithy
  4. Takes just seconds to check for flooding mate, just whip the fuse out for the fuel pump in the small fuse box drivers side by brake/clutch servo. Try to start and after about teh 5th try, if it is almost there or is there in starting, job done. It is strange with a code 21 as technically the injectors arn't delivering fuel, but you have tested and got fuel, so a flood test given how quickly you can do it, has gotta be worth a go. smithy
  5. Choice of 8.5 front and 9.5 rear or 9 front and 10 rear, 10 imo being the max. smithy
  6. 1 end of the new series 2 harness plugs into the series 1 haarness and the other end in to the new PTU, no cuting/splicing etc, simply plug in and you can't get it wrong. total time should be 10mins including fitting on cam covers. smithy
  7. woo hoo, i might be getting old but the ole memory still works lol Glad yer sorted anyways bud. smithy
  8. Think a Koyo is only 2mm thinner than that and peeps fit the shrouds on mate, so see no reason why not. smithy
  9. As far as i know the bottom bracket is only meant for N/A's fitting this rad as the bottom fixing points are different, once the bracket is fitted, it should then give the same fixing points as a TT. So in short if the car is a TT the Rad should fit without the bottom bracket. as far as i know lol smithy
  10. Folks, am looking for someone who can build me a small and basic website. It is to offer support relating to a specific family matter and will require the use of a survey system in it. I will supply all the required info and what order it is to be in etc, then someone create it for me. However there is a catch, i don't have any money for this project, so would need 1 of those free design/host set ups and someone willing to either do it out of the goodness of their heart as it is a good cause or be happy that i see them straight 1 day, but dunno when! I can offer a brand new set of stainnless steel indiglow sills in your choice of 3 colours, maybe some silicone tubing lying around, oh and a few bits of metalwork equipment, that's it lol Please PM if your in a position to help. cheers smithy
  11. As you know mate, the ones i done were manufactured with a UK Zed in a UK welding shop so as to be as a correct fit ;) However i understand that TTZ in Aussie land also did the same thing being of course their Zed's area lso right hookers. Pretty much most of all these "blinged" up exhausts and headers for Jap cars that you see sold on ebay etc, irrespective of the seller being in the UK or the US, are usually supplied by CNRacing in china/taiwan or which ever. Cos the Zed was a massive hit in the US much of their products were designed for that particular market! smithy
  12. Ditto, it's cheap and deffo a must when doing a clutch imo smithy
  13. All LWB models were the same and certainly well upto and even over 1996. With any aftermarket system, the back box section from start to finish has to be the same. Some companies use longer or shorter backboxes than others, but the pipework connected is different to suit, so in short from front to back, it's always the same total length. If this guy has a LWB there no reason under the sun why it shouldn't fit, year, jap or UK or owt else except if he has a SWB. smithy EDIT, Soz just re read this lol so your back boxes are aftermarket?? brand?? and i assume connected to pipework that also came with it? This guy has a completely stock system and is replacing the back boxes only? and is a TT?
  14. Jimmy mate, at the end of the day it's your car and you driving it. We all think and take on board what we like. I really respect the way you've worked with your zed and your big balls in trying things that others don't/won't :) All i'll say is please remember stock for the US was a 6, for the UK it was a 5, so imo all numbers referred to above, for the UK should be less 1, but that really is my opinion fella. A couple old links for yer but direct info from NGK here in the UK. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=859825&postcount=4 At the end of the day mate, they hardly an expensive item to buy, so try what you think and change em as you think eh.. Good luck anyways smithy
  15. Seeing as you don't track every day or week mate, i'd stick with 11b's for everyday use and then wap in what ever you think for track days. Not a big task swapping the plugs over. smithy
  16. Don't be put off by it's name mate, this company although only about 7 years old make some awesome stuff. A lot of it is used on some very top notch high end performance cars and certainly in the modified world. They also do Zed specific parts including what is regarded as one of the best launch controlers on the market. If your not after a Jap branded product, then IMO buy it. These guys often incorporate electronics in to their products that the Japs don't. HTH Smithy
  17. Is there no part No. on it? Assume yours is not fitted and is there a reason for wanting to know, might be able to answer better then. smithy
  18. Only the RPS Max series is a heavy clutch, the fact it is heavier is because it is designed to hold far greater power. The RPS Sport series is literally the same pressure as a stock unit, but holds more power if need be. Think there are about 7 different variations of the RPS clutch Even Exedy and all other brands of clutches can be heavy, it all depends on which particular model you buy and what it is designed to deal with. smithy
  19. Who told yer that mate? Please remember the 6b-11b plug was specific to the US market to take into account different emmissions and ambient temps, that's why it's only available imported and NGK UK don't even stock it. 7 is very cold for a UK Zed, IMO i think you risk fouling the plug unless the car is being pushed hard, ideal for track use etc. Also forget what PSI you want or hope to achieve, noticed you've said this quite a few times. I've watched many a car being mapped, including my own whereby the boost is raised upto 20 + odd PSI, only to lose power. It's all a case of getting the balance right with everything else. I run 18-19 PSI as any more and she lost power. Good luck either way  smithy
  20. I loved it until the last half dozen pics. Great shade of green and reminded me of the toyo tyres 350z. Once he started adding a few things and altering things towards the end, kinda spoilt it for me. Loving the Gold one though :sweatdrop: smithy
  21. On your Vert, no way man. IMO of course :) smithy
  22. Hmm forgot they made changes after using the 0.86 ratio for so long. Geez, either way, with the NOS it's gonna be nuts, plenty of traction needed to drive this baby down the strip lol smithy
  23. I Know that mate, it was me who told yer to go there, i've known Kyle for around 8 years  The 700's are very powerful turbo's and will give you big horse power, however they can be a wee bit laggy. Personally i'd set the Nos to squirt off boost until the turbo's kick in. The gt675's however are the same turbo as the HKS GT2530 but with a lower A/R for a very rapid spool up. That said, if you use NOS for off boost power runs, you'll have the best of both worlds  Good luck mate, can't wait to see this baby running and mapped. smithy
  24. Nice job mate  The whole job is coming along nicely and glad to see your choice of engine:cool3: Loving the whole spec of everything, but can i just ask why you chose the JWT700's ? mega power like, but what swayed you with those. Oh and when are hoping to use the NOS, before boost or after? cheers smithy
  25. Stainless manifolds came out many years ago, manufactured by some top companies too, however stainless was not able to take the high temps and cooling down coupled to the weight of the turbo's. They all pretty much soon started cracking. This why Greg dupree developed the Inconnel manifolds, a lot more expensive but his time and investment paid off and he has supplied many sets and would gaurantee them if used with a flexi pipe in the down pipe. Then came the Mike smith manifolds and the Greg dupree ones stopped. Then came all the copies of the Mike smith ones and hey presto lol hth smithy
