Head Gasket - big job?
Right so thats a wee bit different to your 1st quote eh! No dispute it can be done, but has to be the biggest pita job to do on a zed and a back breaker, certainly time wise and the ability to do it 100% bob on is an engine out job. smithy

Tub removal
Think i'd rather have a few broken connectors that a blind man and his deaf daughter on benefits can repair than "possibly" inadequate plumbed in tubs or tightend nuts/bolts! smithy

Head Gasket - big job?
YOU personally have been present many times a head gasket has been done on a Zed???? where??? smithy

Brakes Again... Evo + Brembo
Give these guys a shout mate http://www.arizonazcar.com/ I've dealt with them before over the years and they are very passionate about Zeds, but more importantly they know brakes and as they do a rear brake kit for the Z32 + Z33, they maybe able to offer some help to you :-) cheers smithy

Brakes Again... Evo + Brembo
Doubtful mate because of the rear shoes being housed behind. Think it was AndyP who 1st fitted the 350Z rears? and looked at all possibilities of doing it. smithy

AEM boost gauge any good?
The Map sensor one i'd fit in the glove box, not unusual to see some gauges in there that arn't always looked at. Water temp is important though as the stock one is absolute crap and at the power your gonna be running, you wanna know she ain't getting too hot! smithy

AEM boost gauge any good?
I can't see ebay links through work, but if that is AEM's boost gauge and boost control?, then yep it's pretty good. However if you have a AEM ECU that your fitting, that also has boost control in it, built in already if you want to use it that is, though the above gauge/boost combination is easier. smithy

Broken caliper mount - welded repair?
Personally i wouldn't, some time down the line if this breaks, who yer gonna have left to deal with? and knowing it had been welded too. They wern't described as having been repaired on ebay and maybe it is the reason why he didn't post up picks when he was selling them here perhaps... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=1342939&postcount=1 Oh and yes, "funland" is used for describing Blackpool. smithy

Cam Belt Change frequency
"3 off" tends to suggest the Aux belts tbh mate. it would normally say Cam belt if done. smithy

Failed brake upgrade
Sorry i don't know the full details mate, theres a guy on ebay who does similar brake upgrades and offers different sized pads to give fuller contact area, but still fit the stock caliper :-) smithy

just started up my 300zx and shes having probs!!!
If you taake either end of the gauze off, remove the end opposite to the filter side. Brake cleaner or similar and maybe use cotton wool bud/stick. smithy

Auto to manual conversion cost
These guys done loads of them and corrected many other attempts too! http://www.zedworld.co.uk/wizzz.html hth smithy

Failed brake upgrade
Correct mate, however using the correct sized disc to suit the bracket. The one above looks like a GTR sized bracket, which is for a maximum disc of 324mm. You can now upgrade pads to give a better contact area too. smithy

99 spec or not
Only this one mate, but it was with quite some bright light so makes the light surrounds look even more shinier than normal. smithy

Braided hose is this stuff good or bad
Small black relay box near teh brake/cluth booster, it's marked. Pull it and crank the engine a few times, only a small amount of fuel then will leak. What i do is as soon as i remove one end of a fuel line, fit the new one and leave angled upwards, remove the other end of the old one and now fit the other end of the new one and so on etc smithy

Engine Rebuild help
TBH mate, anyone who opens up one of these 20 year old odd engines and doesn't fit new Pistons and bottom end bearings is nuts. Both have wear after all this time, both are now cheaply available and both will set you back a small fortune should they go in the near future and lastly, both are cheapt to fit once the engine is open. So just buy this and job done :-) http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_7&products_id=1056&osCsid=b90d8d1bff0db597f5ed0e2555327f80 smithy

Unless stolen for ransom if money owed to someone perhaps! smithy

Ex member ripping people off
I agree mate, a new thread simply titled a "list of missing presumed stolen parts", and list what detail you can. More importantly though speak with the other guys as to what maybe missing for them and list that also. Theres 100's of members here looking out for it all for you guys. Good luck! smithy

N/A 1 piece stainless steel slam panel
The pic is meant to stay the same, it's the main pic of the advert. They deffo 100% do them and plenty in the US have them, so as long as you select N/A in the box, then you'll get it. The difference is minimal, it is really only the existing rad bracket holes that differ, ask them for a pic and they will send you one. smithy

Ex member ripping people off
Geez not good mate, unfortunately i think the writing was on the wall with this though. Projects like yours and the other 2 involved require masses of comittment from the garage/mechanic and a fair amount of financial backing in the business to sustain the vast labour time involved before payment upon completion of satisfied work. Man theres been some businessess start up as Zed specialists and soon fade away owing money/parts and returned cars, common theme seems to be the big projects they get involved in. Really hope you and the other guys see some light at the end of this, I've been in a similar situation myself once or twice with me Zed and it's all soul destroying to a person who thinks of their car so passionately! Best of luck and keep us all informed how it goes. cheers smithy
