Worth every peny IMO

Short out the connector on the power steering pot will disable the hicas, a red warning light will come on dash just unplug the bulb.

Is there a write up on how to remove these?

I used to get this. The problem is the rubber seal between the center panel and the bumper, it goes dry and cant make a good seal. Either get a new one or do as I did and put some liquid gasket between them for a tempary fix.

I am not getting any heat through the demister or through the central vents, I only get heat to the footwell. Any ideas why its not coming through the demister and central vents? I have recently done a major cam belt service and replaced coolant. I'm sure I got heat to come out of the demister before. Cheers.

Try cleaning the temp sensor connector (yellow connector) on upper rad pipe.

I just had 2 rear Toyo Proxis T1-S fitted and i'm amazed at how much the car grips compared to my old falcans. Don't know if the T1-R is any better though.

I have had the same problem as you Tizer, usually after I have washed the car. The water gets in where the center panel meets the bumper (the rubber seal perishes over time) and drips on the filter. I'm going to fit a small polythene sheet under the affected area to direct the water drops away from the filter.

Take the MAF and filter off, dry them out using a hair dryer, clean connetor, put all back on.

Not sure if this would help but did you bleed the abs unit?

How about get your hammer and chisel out hack the turbos off, that should do the trick.

I tested the stopping distance from 60mph to zero on the zed using my Gtech pro and got 120ft. I tested my dads Focus its only 1 year old and got 130ft same day same road. I use EBC green stuff for the pads on the Z everything else is stanard brakes. I would say the brakes are quite good on the zed when they are in good working order. One thing that lets them down is the responsiveness, you have to press really hard on the zed brakes to get it to stop well, on the Focus you only have to tap the brakes and your face is on the wind screen!

These Toyota owners are so sensitive, I wonder why lol.

I'm going to be replacing my antifreeze/coolant next week, which is the best for the zed? I heard Nissan made one specially for the zed, any suggestions? Cheers.

Hi Legrath. Those clear lenses make a huge differance to the car, much better than the orange. I'm tempted to give it a go, is there anything that can go wrong with the DIY approach? I don't want to get half way doing it to find I have broken somthing only to have to buy a new set of lights. Cheerz.
