Sorry to hear that. Get in touch with the legal cover or the CAB see if they can help you.
  2. Apart from the new manifold setup there if probably less pipe work than the TT setup, also all the A/C is ditched as the tub takes the position of it.
  3. Ok compression test is next on the list, can you tell me what the normal reading are on the test. Thanks.
  4. Science is very good at explaining physics and the world around us, but is limited to physics. Try explaining what a colour looks like to a person that has been blind from birth, no matter how hard you try to explain it scientificaly and in a logical way he just won't be able to perceive what it looks like because he just does not have the capability to do so! This may be the same with so called "supernatural" experiences like the Ouiga board. IMO.
  5. He changed the tubs because the car failed MOT as oil was getting into tubs and causing smoke. Now though the tubs have been changed and the smoke is 100 times worse. The engine ticks over ok when cold but is a little erratic when hot, it does not sound like its missing as its very smooth when idleing. It has just been de-cated when tubs replaced (tubs had uprated staggered gap). There is no sludge in water. The next things we were going to check is to get it on datascan but waiting for cable to arrive, and also as sugested compression test. Engine seemed fine before tubs replaced! :headvswal What was strange is there is a lot more pressure coming from driver side exhaust than passenger, it is almost as if somthing is blocking the passenger exhaust.
  6. A mate of mine has just replaced both tubs on his zed and is getting white smoke from exhaust. We have compare his car agains mine to make sure all the pipes are on correctly and no problem there. I have done a ECU check and code 55 so no problem there. When car is started there is no smoke, when I checked his exhaust there seems to be a lot more pressure coming from the driver side than the passenger, the passenger side is slightly smoking. When car heats up white smoke starts too poor out of passenger side, and when reved from both sides, it totally swamps the street. We are really at a loss as to what's causing this and any help would be appreciated.
  7. Ok, looks like i'll have to get it from New zealand. Cheers.
  8. Does onyone sell the Data Scan software and cable in the uk?
  9. How do you guys who have disabled it cope? Anyway last night was so hot I could not sleep so decided to sit in the Z with the A/C on for an 30min, thank the zed God's for A/C!
  10. All I need is the Lotus Exige Performance 2d, Audi A8 Quattro 4.2, Vauxhall VX220 Turbo.

  13. Very nice zed. Lets hope this new film won't be as tacky as the 2 fast 2 furious film
  14. Happy zed anniversary!
  15. Got to agree. I took the day off work yesterday to have some work done on my van, guy said it would be ready at end of today, guess what? Its not ready. Still waiting for a phone call from him looks like I will be out of work for another day as I rely on it for work. Just glad I have my trusty zed to get me about in the mean time.
  16. What has happened to him? Have not seen him on here for ages.

[quote= Still probably end up getting an RX7 sometime in the future... ;) A good friend of mine has bought a non runner 1992 rx7 for £1.5k, engine and tubs knackered. He is doing it up and it will be a bit of a stunner when he has finished it as he is uprating everything including engine, bigger single tub, brakes and suspention. Nice choice BTW.
  18. You have my deepest sympathy, my thoughts are with you and your kids, . Steve.
  19. I was talking to a mechanic about engine fliush and he said on high milage engine it can be a bad thing because it dislodges old oil that has helped to seal gaskets thus causing them to fail and causing oil leaks.
  20. The vid I have of the 350z doing 8.3sec at 176mph is 20 meg, i'm going to try using windows media encoder to try and reduce the file size, then if you want I can email it to you. Would it be possible to have a section on this web site for videos?
  21. Not to worry m8, just thought it may have been one of those video clips off kazza or somthing cheerz anyway.
  22. Any chance you could email me the vid of the jun Z doing 9sec if its not too big?
  23. Yes that Supra is awesome but to put it in perspective I have a vid of a 300zx doing the 1/4 mile in 8.75 sec and also a 350z doing it in 8.3 sec don't know what power they are pushing but must be mental.
  24. Any kind of oil leak is not a good thing especially from a tub. Yes you do have to prime them with oil so it could be that but those tubs get so hot it would probably burn it off before it driped. Does not sound good if there was a patch of oil on the floor. Keep a close eye on it and if it is still the same after a day then take it back!
