  1. I agree with what your saying. BUT, it's easier to find out the history of a uk car by phoning one of the many companys that check for outstanding hpi or clocking etc. I used a hpi checking company before I bought my zed and found out there was still money owed on it to a lending company, not by the previous owner but the owner before that! Sorted it all out with him before I bought the car, but it could have been a nasty situation if I had not done the hpi check. Also I notice that J spec imports all have around 55000 miles on the clock, even 14 year old ones! It looks very dodgy, I think most j spec's have been clocked. This is all my opinion, I sure someone will correct me. :)
  2. I'm only a 10 min drive from Ironbridge so will be able to make it put me on the list!

NGK PFR6b-11B recomended replacing every 60,000 miles although personally I would change mine every 30,000. I presume you have a twin turbo.

Welcome to the forum. SWB, TT, manual, black, the best choice m8, sounds like you got a good deal with all the mods you listed. I run 325 at wheels at 1 bar with chip, filter, decat. You will have to post some pics of your zed for us all to see.
  9. Nice web site chunk, much better than my attemp. Question for you, on your mods section you say your going to remove the ABS, why do this?
  10. I'm in Telford, no snow on ground what so ever. It's not been too bad here compared to rest of county.
  11. I have to agree with Pete comments above. But also these types of cars in general are falling in price, I mean you can now pick up a 3 gen RX7 for around 4k now.
  12. Good on yer MAC1, looks like you could have some serious competition though with this GT45 single turbo zed http://www.japmetal.com/forum/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Proj1;action=display;num=1106172244 "If" he gets it completed on time he says he will be running TOTB5.

  14. Big BHP car + rear wheel drive + icy conditions= :nono:
  15. Did not think you could get a driving licence when only 2 years old

  20. Buy a manwell in the first place and save your self some money :)
  21. I was on the verge of buying a pair of T1-R for the rear, suposed to be better than the S. May consider going for the T1-S now hearing your comparison! So are they worse in the wet, or just worse all round?
  22. http://z32power.schoolwires.com/6910922117593/site/default.asp Take a look at the spec
  23. Just tried this diagnostic and is's quite impressive watching the rears move like that! The hicas light flashes 4 times short and 5 times long followed by 1 very long, any ideas what this indicates?
  24. I would swop the afm for a known working one first, it does sound like its faulty.
