  1. Because I only use my zed the weekends (second vehicle, daily drive is a van:( ) I am absolutly buzzing just at the thought of driving the zed, I mean my stomach has butterflies just thinking about taking the zed out for a blast! Thats why I voted 4 :)
  2. Sorry to hear about your bad luck, every time I hear this sort of thing I seriously consider getting a snooper.
  3. I have this on on MP3 it's very funny!
  4. I have had this exact problem you have discribed! As Andy said check the temp guage sender (black socket). On my car the spade connector was loose on the sender, I just soldered it secure and problem solved.
  5. Ok, will ask chris about plugs. Was wondering if it was common practice to change the O rings on balance bar. Cheerz.
  6. Hi I am going to replace my spark plugs and am going for the PFR6B-11B. I can get them from courtesy just wondered if any traders sell these. Also can anyone tell me if there is a gasket that needs to be replaced when removing the balance bar? Cheerz
  7. Yes saw the whole program. What an amazing achievement for a private company on a low budget! And the acceleration of of the space ship was incredible the way the pilot got slamed back in his seat as the rocked motor fired up!
  8. What about the Nissan R390? You have to class that as a supercar!
  9. LOL the same one as you!
  10. LOL none of these cars could equal a zed for 20k mods, apart from maybe the american muscle! ;)
  11. I have to agree with you that the z is not in the same league as ferrari or lambo. But I cant think of any cars you could buy for 10k and spend another 20k on mods that would "own a z" especially rear wheel drive cars. As for cost of parts for the z well they are coming down all the time especially with the help this excellant forum and second hand parts. Also there are many more specialists on the scene now concerning the z in-fact another one has not long started called ztech which I believe is excellant. True you will never get back what you spend on moding cars, but who cares? I dont ecpect to get back the 1 grand I spent to get my car another 100hp!
  12. The Z32 was a supercar in the early 90's. Todays supercars are all 500 to 600hp twice what the z is and cost over $100,000. But give me 20 grand and I will equal the performance of the modern "supercar".
  13. I have a proven 325bhp at wheels by thore (390 at fly). When I did this run the speedo was a smudge below 180mph and the rev counter was near the red line so I think it was near enough 177- 180mph and it was still accelerating!
  14. LOL. I've done 177mph on a level road (obviously on a track) and there was still power left in it:) I was too scared to go any faster though. :(
  15. just noticed you have j spec, they are limited to 112mph so that does'nt help.
  16. Sounds like your speed restrictor kicking in (UK zed limited to 155mph 249kph). Get it de-restricted and thereticly a manual will do 186mph (299kph) or an auto 201mph (323kph).
  17. Received copy today thanks great vid. That white zed was over 500bhp and RR could not go any higher wonder what it was actually kicking out?
  18. Ok, so my next question is do you know any importers of these plugs? Cheers.
  19. So are these plugs the standard Nissan plugs?
  20. I'm going to change my plugs soon. What are the recomended plugs for the zed running 15.5psi? Cheers.
  21. Just curious, how can a bad earth damage the heater matrix?
  22. I'll have a copy please. YGPM.
  23. I've had a similar problem. Difficult to describe what I did to fix it but here goes. At front top of engine by the throttle linkages are two metal breather pipes. On my car the one breather pipe stuck out slightly more than it should and caught part of the throttle linkages causing it to jam open and increasing the revs of the engine very high. I just knocked the breather pipe back in a little and put some lock tight on and sorted problem. Hope this helps.
  24. Yes m8, I spoke to him about it he's going to get back to me. Cheers.
  25. Its a good question, maybe a previous owner slid the back end into a curb? It's a bit of a mystery, don't know what could of caused this to happen, have only recently noticed it.
