I thought the reading should be 0.4
  2. The light are secured by 2 nuts and 2 bolts. The front corners of the lights have studs which you put a nut on, You can reach the inside front stud when you take the head light panel off. The other front one you have to take the inner wheel arch off I think. The 2 back fixing points you put a bolt through from underneath. I think you can get the outside rear fixing point from under the wheel arch, while the inside rear on is a real paint to reach. fixing it by 3 points makes it secure, but 2 points it will still wobble.
  3. You sure he was an insurance guy? Hmmmm sounds a little suspect to me.
  4. Very lucky actually, I live in a very good close. The neighbours have been very understanding and like I said have taken an interest in whats going on. One neighbour helped with taking the engine out, and 2 neighbours have allowed us to put parts in their garage for nearly a year. I remember when I got the car, I walked home from the local shops to see my dad in my car with a neighbour ragging it down the street. LOL
  5. No laquer on it yet
  6. Most of the come over for a weekly update on how its going. Their more excited than I am.
  7. Getting there. Had to spray it all outside, so the paint is not perfect and a lot of kamakazi bugs and flies which got stuck on the wait paint have to be rubbed out. Not too long now. :D
  8. My Lord. Some one who actually knows what they are talking about.

Yeah saw it. It was in the paper yesterday. Dont get me started on what London is like. I have been unfortunate to be in a pub when a local very large business ended for the day. There was less childish behavour in a nursary playschool. Anyway, the article is not that bad. I only dropped 2 pies in shock. The other 6 where fine, but they didnt last long. Yumm!
  12. have you asked on scoobynet.co.uk?
  13. When I was picking colours, I found a colour called Mexican red, which was a very deep metalic red. It looked very nice.
  14. I got a full gasket set from the US. It came with virtually every gasket and washer, even a sump plub washer.
  15. Get rid of your cats. You can leagally remove them
  16. It looks like a school too. THere are school buses parked on the other side.
  17. There are not 2 bulbs, there are reflectors in the middle arent there. When the lights are on it looks like 2 lights.
  18. I found this picture. Is that a Z in the top left of the picture? http://www.pointystick.com/funnypics.php?id=61&page=29&sortby=
  19. rear shocks are cheaper because they are lower spec.
  20. The records for front engine rear wheel drive is broken by a Pontiac I think, but it did have something like a 7 litre turboed engine. It still holds the record in its class.
  21. The suspension stiffens up when you lift the handbrake up one click, so that the light is on but it should be enough to bind the brakes. I think the engine has to be running first for it to work. You can test it by bouncing on the back of the car when the car is stopped but the handbrake off and then try it with the handbrake on. You can tell the difference more when driving, especially when pulling off from lights. The rear of the car doesnt seem to dip as much when pulling off. Also small bumps in the road are felt more. The harder suspention activates automatically when you go faster. I dont know what speed but I think its at least 40mph, as I could tell the difference at 30mph using the hand brake way. This is only on the UK though, as Japanese dont have it. The US actually have a button to change the softness of the suspention. The soft version is very soft and the sports I think only stiffens the suspention to Jap spec hardness. The UK/Euro, I believe, has the hardest suspention of the lot.
  22. Yep all sprayed in the garage. Its not perfect, but it looks good.
  23. But dont worry, when the person is caught Blunket will have his way. The murderer will get 7 years and only be in prison at the weekends.
  24. Dampened one is better, but they are 5-6 times more expensive and not as light. You dont need the whole set as its only the crank pulley which does anything.
