Supercars are not put in the category for its power alone. Also once a car is a supercar can it NOT become a supercar years later? What about a Ferrari 288 IMHO is the best looking Ferrari ever made and by Ferrari enthusiasts is said to be the best Ferrari ever made. At the time of its release it would have been a super car but its stats nowadays are not too impressive. But does that mean it is longer a supercar? Is a catagory of a supercar respective of what it was like when it came out or what it is like compaired to now? The Ferrari 360 is 400bhp, is that not a supercar because its less than the 500/600bhp?

I got a quote from them for the following car, 1991 UK TT, 5000 miles, Classic policy, With the following Mods: Uprated Intercoolers, 555cc Injectors, A'PEXi airfilter, Exhaust, 17 Inch Alloys, Traction Control, Lightened Pulley, Boost Controller, Chipped ECU, Painted Purple. I got quoted £630 (ish) for being 24 or £450(ish) if I was 25 (Which I am in 2 months, but can I wait 2 months :() That is a very good quote considering the mods and my age.

Sometimes resetting the ecu will do it as it resets the autobox too. Disconnect the battery for at least 2 hours. It sometimes works.

How about the naff interior on the Lotus Esprit GT3 which, the one I sat in, had Vauxhall Nova indicator sticks and Carlton electric window switches. If you use your "if nothing can be made better" then there would never be a supercar, as the next Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche etc would never be made as it wont be better. To make it better mean the previous one wasnt a Supercar, and when the next come the now current one wont be a super car. So can there ever be a supercar? A Lamborghini Diabo is no the lightest thing in the world, and could be a lot lighter and thus faster, if you take the interior out. It can be improved on from the original design, so its not a super car, according to you. Also acording to you, the McLauren F1 is not a Super car as it has 3 seats and does not fit with your 2 seat theory. So according to your terms, the worlds fastest road car is not a supercar. The Ferrari 456 is not a supercar because it has rear seats. Ferrari Enzo is not a super car because it has 4WD as does the Lamborghini Murcielago and most of the Diablos to name just 2 super car manufactures. The Murcielago is the only road car do complete a 24 hour non-stop road test where the average speed over the 24hours was over 200mph and they didnt stop the clock for changing drivers or pit stops. But according to you its not a supercar because of the 4WD system, traction control etc. And lets not forget that Lotus invented the active suspention with they use on their cars. I remember it getting banned from F1. The Esprit has a Relault 25 gear box, which you can hardly discribe as exotic materials. Its a gearbox from a naff french family car. The Noble has a US Ford truck engine in it. Hardly exotic and the body panels are plastic arent they? And can you say that the Noble and Lotus Esprit are supercars considing a vast majority of the engine or drivetrain has been bought from another car company and not been made or designed by the company who makes the engine? 20 years ago when technology wasnt what it is now. You had to make a car balanced to make it handle better, make it lighter to make it go faster. But not any more. You dont realise how much technology is in a car nowadays. You cant always see it bu it's there. You find my a new sportyish car which doesnt have Variable Valve Timing which is a computer controlled thing.

You dont have to be at the cutting edge of technology for things to fail. My motherboard and chip went at the same time and I returned them. I got a replacment motherboard which was the same I had before (Asus) and it was faulty. They actually tested them when I got it from stock. I got 4 replacement Motherboards and they where ALL faulty. In the end I got a simalar spec ABit one. They got a whole batch of bad Motherboards. OucH!

AMD64 actually run lower temperatures than you think. But the temp probe is usually for case temperature, as all chips now have temp sensors on them. You should have a program which tells you the temp or I use Motherboard Monitor which tells you lots of information. Also dont be shocked when the AMD64 fan turns off. The way they work they actually turn the clock speed right down when its not doing much and the fan can turn off because it doesnt get hot much.

There is a plastic vent under each head light which goes from the air filter area to under the wheel arch. What are they for? Does any one know? Can I take them off as they are just flapping around and not doing much. Stuart

But that will tell the water temperature of it after the radiator cooled it. Also the water does not flow around the radiator until the thermostat is open.

Any internet company can see what you are downloading. All they can do is fell you the file name and location but they actually wont know what the file is until they acutally run it themselves. I can put a log on your computer which will tell me what you are downloading, but a file called 1032783297.iso could be anything. How many times have you downloaded a file from places like Kazaa and its not what the file was called? I remember trying to download some program and got Zoolander DVD rip because they changed the name of the file. ISP can say you downloaded such a file, but they cant tell if you still have it. You can say it was downloaded by mistake and you deleted it straight away. But if they have a way of looking at the files on your computer, they are breaking the law. I know some one who phoned up Microsoft for some help with Windows, but he had an illegal copy of Office installed. While on the phone the telephonist said to him that he had an illegal copy of Office installed onto his computer. But they could not act upon it because Microsoft themselves where breaking the law getting that information.
