Pulling Power
Dispite many comments by strangers implying that it would be easy to pull because of my car, I have yet to have any interest from any female. I would like to know how you car pull becuase of your car? The only females that would see my car when I am in it are teenage slappers hanging round with the Corsa boys, and I dont make a habbit of not hanging round those sort of places. The other type of women you meet in other social places where your car is not a topic of conversation and is out of sight. Besides, my car's Nº 2 fan is my dad, and Nº3 fan is my beautiful girlfriend. What else could I ask for? ;) Stuart

High tickover
Basically clean everything. Water temp sensor, change air filters, fuel filter, clean TPS, and reset ECU. I had a high tickover and after I changed the filters and cleaned the sensors it went, as did the irratic idle. Stuart

what are the figures?
No it is law! Mass produced Japanese cars can not be more than 280PS, which is just over 280bhp. The Skyline Nismo 400 gets a way with it becuase its not a mass produced car, and I believe the Mitsubishi Evo 5 Extreme produces over 350bhp, because its not a mass produced car, or is tuned outside of the country. I think it has to be under 500 cars to not be classed as mass produced. Stuart

You make me high!
If you are getting a puddle on the ground I would think that is a leak at the bottom of the tank. If there was a hole in the neck or at the top of the tank, the pressure would leak out and it would smell. If there is a leak at the bottom of the tank, petrol would drip out but the tank will remain pressurised. Stuart

IE Help
Have you got all the XP updates? XP was not shipped with Java or Virtual Machine in Explorer, due to licenceing issues when it was shipped. The XP updates could sort this out. Stuart

It will save a little on the MASS too, being no electric motors. ;) You can use the old motors to make a robot for robot wars ;) Stuart

You make me high!
My neck has gone and when I go round round-a-bouts I can smell the fumes. :( I got a neck from Andy but the screws into the tank where so rusty they would just fall apart when the screwdriver got any where near them, so I has to get the tank from Andy too :D The best way to see if you have a leak is to take the petrol cap off when there is a good amount of fuel in. You should get a hiss because its pressurised, if you dont that means the pressure is leaking out somewhere hence a hole. There was also a nice pile of mud jammed between the tank neck cover and the inner wheel arch, which rusted away the metal. I not have a nice hole about inch and a half wide from my arch to my boot.. But its all getting sorted soon. Stuart

Help copying DVD.
I want to put a XVID film onto a DVD so I can watch it on a DVD player, but when I create the DVD the sound is out of sync and gets worse through out the film, untill the soundtrack for the film ends and I have the last 10 mins of the film in silence. Does any one know any good programs to convert DIVX and XVID films to MPG first? Stuart

seat belts
I know what you mean. I dont feel safe if its not tight against me. Has any one noticed that the seat belt locks when the car is leaning forward or backwards slightly? I have trouble looking when I pull out of my street which is on a hill because the seatbelt has lock with me sitting right back. Stuart

Optimax-How much?
79.9 so far here. Used to be 72.9 when it first came out. Bloody war! I find it better. I get more mileage and my car runs noticably smoother. Stuart

WOW! Great MPG. I tell you how!
I worked out that I spend between £2000-£3000 a year on petrol and I dont really go anywhere. God knows where it all goes.

Fitted twin induction,what time
My car is really no different at driving when I have reset the ECU. Once or twice it didnt start first time just after I reset it but I heard that may happen sometimes and is nothing to worry about. However I can tell that the car is not doing as good MPG for the 100 miles or so Stuart.

WOW! Great MPG. I tell you how!
Yes you people forget that the tank is 72 litres. My Corsa is a 40 litre tank. So the Z is nearly twice as big and I will only get about 250 miles ish on a long run on a full tank, while the Corsa will do over 400 on a full tank and thats mostly round town too. I am really hopeful that this will save me money. So far so good. Stuart

WOW! Great MPG. I tell you how!
Get another car!!!!!! I was a little worried about getting another car, because it means, more tax more insurance, more maintaince another MOT and would I really save that much money after it all. But I put £28 of petrol in my Corsa, which filled it up, done over 100 miles and I have not even used a 1/4 of the tank yet. Makes a difference from £20 lasting 100 miles and only just.! One problem though, is its damn slow. :( but in the long run well worth it. Any one else find having a 2nd car easier on the pocket? Stuart

Power Stearing Problem?
Is it a UK or Jap Z? Im guessing Jap. This problem is common of a speed sensor failure or speedo conversion failure. But you said that its fine after a few mins. Check your fluid levels. Stuart

Making DVD's is slow.
I bought a DVD Writer, :D so when we get a meeting I can make a DVD of it and distribute it to all my friends :D. Trying to make a DIVX film go onto DVD, but it takes two and a half hours to encode the thing, but then only 15mins to write it. God its slow. Stuat

Elephant.co.uk
Yes all claims have to be made via the internet which could take days to do, or a premium rate phone number. I found a insance site which was good. It was called confuesed or something like that. Stuart
