Least I know that the valve works. The pressure goes to 90PSI and doesnt go any higher. I ask this because I drove my car to work and on exhaust pipe has that grey goo when water mixes with water in it. But I did clean my tial pipes yesterday with water and spray oil, to get the soot off, so I think its that. But I will keep an eye on it. Stuart

Where does the oil come out if you over fill it. I ask because I over filled it slightly when I did a change yesterday, not by much, and I have been keeping an eye on the oil pressure and it hasnt gone too high but is higer than what it should be for the RPM im doing. I know there is a valve that opens when its over full and the oil is released, but where does it come out? The exhaust, on the floor? I am planning to take some oil out when I have time, maybe Monday or Tuesday. Stuart

I connected mine to the 2. They seem to be working well and my aftermarket on is showing the optimum temp and the fan came on when the gauge showed the temp it should come one if you get what I mean Stuart

I would take the jets out till you sort it, as we dont really know what boost you should be pushing with the jets as they are very hit and miss. Least then we know when we sort the leak beacuse you will have 9PSI. You can try pressurising the engine with a home made blocker and air line you put over there the air box goes, blow in the air and listen for any leaks. You will be able to hear then because the engine will be off. Stuart

I know some one who worked for Kwik Fit and they said that they are told my management to push for things that are not really needed. Frighten people into having new shock by saying its making the car unsafe. When I had an Astra I went to get 2 new tyres and dispite there advert saying 10 mins per wheel I was there for 40 mins they told me that my discs where below the min level, and fair doos they where, but I was quoted £190 for to job of 2 front discs and change front pads. I went over to halfords and bought the every thing for £60 and a hour later they it was done. We also had family Sierra there an exhaust change as no one had the time to do it. 3 years later it needed another one and took it some where else where we were told that the exhaust on it was the wrong one, it was for an Escort 1.6 or something. FFS! Wouldnt trust them as far as I could throw them. Stuart

As said. New engine is the worse. Turbos can go too which will cost about £1000 to do. But there are so many people who can help you keep the cost right down, with quality 2nd hand bits, or alternatives to Nissan parts which tend to be cheaper or better. Stuart

I know I thought it was that for a while but my expertees is not as good as others and asked for help. These Diags really just shows how bad it was. I also got a small vid clip of the stock water temp showing normal, yet my after market one showing over 90C and the fan came on for the first time ever. Stuart

According to my ECU I am. I did an ECU test and got the all clear, 55. I than ran the O2 test, when you rev the car for 2 mins at 2000rpm and the light is supposed to flash about 5 times every 10 seconds. Mine flashes on for 15-20 seconds on then goes off for 1-2 seconds then back on for 15-20 secs. Are my O2 Sensors wrong? Will they need replacing? I think they do. Plus my tail pipes are covered in soot. Stuart

There are kits to convert the Z to a single turbo or supercharger, but its a lot of time and effort. Stuart

There is one at Three Sisters in September, same format as what I did a few weeks ago. As many drivers as you want I think. An hour practise, 10 mins Qualifying, 4 hours of racing. If any one wants to join this it will be good fun. The Three Sisters is a propper Kartking track and I think they use it on the UK Karting Championship too. I know a few years ago, Fisichella took Ryan Giggs round the track in a Honda 2000 for an ITV spot. Stuart

Think about it, MAC comes accross this most weekends being a doorman. He can talk to calm people down, he can reason to calm them down, but some times when they are being a danger to himself and other people going out, they need a smack before they start to behave. Stuart

I did one at 3 Sisters a few weeks ago. How long is the race? Try to keep each person out for as long as possible. It takes time to come in the pit and change over so do the least number of changes possible. Stuart
