DOnt think you can get rid of it 100%. But the best you can do is take them out and real them. Stuart
  3. I just think its so sad that you took time to either scan that picture or search for it on the internet. God you must be bored ;) LOL Stuart
  4. I think that is just the Nissan Red AG2 if I am not mistaken, but it may have had a respray the same colour though. They did one called AG1 later on, which is very sligtly lighter, and then there is the dark red which looks nice too. Stuart
  5. Mine are really good. But I think they where changed when the front of the car had a little bump a few years ago.
  6. I heave heard from many different sources and on Skylines who have the HICAS too, that the around a track the car performs better with out it. There was a very long article on TwinTurbo.net about it a while ago, where some one set out to see if there was a difference, and not prove that its better without it, so it was unbias. He found the car went better round the track without it. Also I read a on a site about a Skyline R33 in Australian used for amature racing I think. They spent a day on the track with it, and for the last couple of laps they turned off the HICAS, via the fuse, and where over 1/2 a second faster on their first attempt and further laps improved even more. But for more practical uses, HICAS is a good thing. When you gonna go on a track and is it worth the money for just 15-20 you may get on a track a year. Stuart
  7. I am not too sure if it would throw the balance of the car out. If you do both shocks you should be fine. Dont just do 1 though :( That is bad. The Nissan Stock Shocks from what I understand are quite good. Stuart
  8. Good reading. Makes no difference to me, mines been removed. :D Stuart
  9. I though it was at low speeds turns the wheels the oposite direction to make the back end swing round, and at high speeds, it turns the same way so the car drifts. It is usually because you steering fluid is low as b19rks said. You top it up in the green bottle with the black top wit 2 wires, located on the left of the engine. Stuart
  10. 3 Years for tyres on a Z? Do you hover everywhere ;) How you mean cracks? Cracks as in the tyre has dried and thus cracked? You can get small splits in the tyre, these are just where stones or glass have split the tyres slightly. As long there is not air escaping there is no problem. Stuart
  11. It was a local place in Wigan that did it. There are probably places that can do it near you. Just look in your Yellow Pages, or at http://www.yell.co.uk. Search for Car Radiator and then your town or local major town to find one. They dont recore it with Aluminum though which I wasnt bothered about anyway. So what its 2lb heavier, it does the job and well. Stuart.

Sorry to hear about it. Its never a good time, but people who are made redundent often go on to a better paid job. People dont look out for better jobs when they are working, because there is no need, but really you should be looking all the time. Any ways. Things will get better. Stuart
  13. Jaylox (Jayson) on http://www.z32.co.uk is doing a group buy on turbos at the moment and they are uprated. Check it out and see how much you can get them for. As for the radiator, I got mine re-cored for just over £100, which is a lot better than the £400 ish for a new radiator. Its really easy to take out. 2 screws on top, 2 under neath, take off the 2 pipes and unclip the fan cover and it will pull out from the top. 20 min job if that. I think you are unlucky about your car. Most people have problems with it but they are usually just minor ones which you would expect from a 12 year old car. Then there are people who have no end to thier troubles but once its sorted its sorted for a long time. ;) Stuart

I noticed a big difference in my speedo and GPS, there is a tread about this too somewhere. Anyway, when my speedo was showing 100mph the GPS said 90 so there is a substantial difference there. Dont know which is correct, the latest satalite tracking system, or my 12 year old speedo. Hmmmm. Stuart

This probably about a 1second delay in the speed. You can usually have a choice in the settings to save the batteries. Stuart
  16. Is that just the splash gaurd removed so you can see through it.
  17. Yes that could have been why it was hot. The misfire causes fuel to go through the exhaust and burn on the cats. Stuart
  18. A collaped cat can cause that problem. I think I know some one with a SX whos engine ran like a bag of poop and it turned out to be a collapsed cat. Just rip the buggers out and get it done with ;) Stuart
  19. I think you have got a dud. I have had very little problems with mine. Rad, clutch and now it may need O2 sensors. 3 things for a 12 year old car with 160,000 miles. I think its well worth having one over a new sports car which are getting slower and all look the same. Stuart
  20. You havent seen my latest way of cleaning the exhausts!!!!!!! A BOG BRUSH! Yes! It fits perfectly and gets all the crap out very very well. Listen I have to get some pride out of sitting on the end drive shoving a bog brush up my tailpipe ( Oooo Errrr ;) ) and showing them off is my way of getting a little but of dignity back. ;) I think I need more pride! Yes I do so here again ;) :D :D :D :D LOL Stuart
  21. Why where is the Rad? It is possible but I think its more work than its worth. I have seen a Z with a Supra engine in too. Apparently there was alot of modding needed to get it in. Stuart
  22. A lot of people go for the Mongoose exhaust, it looks good and its a reasonable price, and makes a nice noise. Personally some can make too much noise but the Mongoose when decatted sounds good. This is what the pipes look like. Stuart
  23. This post has gone off course a little
  24. Its really hard to say. You have to take it somewhere and get an estimate. The nose may be able to be fixed, if not it's new nose or 2nd hand one. Stuart
  25. Most proably the CAT temp warning light. Did it have 3 wavy lines on it? I never seen it just descriptions, but its most probably that. Means yout CATs where getting too hot. Stuart
