CVs can be false. References are often friends, or employer who may want to get rid of the worker and give a good reference. There are websites with the most common IT questions asked with answers. Maybe you are the exception to the trend.? All I know that I worked my arse off at my old job and I was very good at it, and never got rewarded with experience on setting up servers etc. Their excuse I dont have experience with setting up servers and Im not qualified. While external people walked in to 2nd line, because they had a MCSE.

I agree in part with that. There are too many people who just do the intensive course or just revise the exam questions. But either way you are really just taking the word of the person that they have that experience.

5k is for all the courses. The exams cost £80-£120 each and you need 5 certain ones. Other alternative is to go to university and pay £4000 a year for something which means feck all in the real world.

Its not a waste of money. Have a look at most IT engineer jobs, and they are mostly asking for MCSE. You will probably learn very little from the actual courses of you are already an engineer, but it is a piece of paper which shows proof you know it. It is an international recognised qualification.

Thanks for the heads up, but I would question his virus scanner. I dont think the free AVG integrates into email. I doubt his data is completely lost. Only if the virus filled every part of the disc with 0s or 1s 10 times, of if the platers have smashed would his data be lost. Tell him to look for a program called getdataback for NTFS, it will get his stuff he needs.

Yeah I heard the handbag on the choke too. There is a VW garage in Wigan on a one way system. I think at least 3 times I have seen in the paper people turning out of the one way system the wrong way, hitting a car or truck head on and writing it off. Luckly there have never been any serious injuries.

What "um-derrrrrrrr!" moments have you had with your Z, or any other car? Tell your story. I have 2, one Z related one not. After the first rebuild, we (my dad and I) start up the engine for the first time, and it started in 1 second. Yay! We where so proud, and we left it ticking over. After about 3 mins, it was stuggling, and it got worse and worse until it died. Thinking it had melted, we checked everything for over a hour but we didnt know why it was not not even turning over. We asked a mechanic neighbour to come and help and we told him what happened. "Right" he thought for 10 seconds. "Have you connected the alternator?" It was then the penny dropped. Also when I was about 2 or 3, my dad fixed a car of a neighbour, and also painted it a nice mint green. (This was the early eighties and and the green was the original colour) While waiting for the first coat to drie he decided to paint the wheels silver. Alloys where a not common those days so cleaning your wheels and painting them make the car look nice. Being so small I was in awe of my dad and wanted to help. While having a rest I appeared from around the other side of the car with a paint brush dripping with silver paint and told him "I finished painting the car" In a panic my dad went to the other side of the car to see that I had painted virtuall half the car in silver paint. he had to strip it all off and start again. He wasnt happy.

Hold on. Actually I think it goes on the plenum. On the right side of the plenum at the back, there is a big brass coloured bolt with a small hose coming off it. Im sure thats where its gets its feed. Not drive your Z for 16 months and you forget where stuff is LOL
