The problem, having just filled up with petrol Tescos 99ron

 

I take Zed to the dual carriageway. Hit the carriagesay coming off roundabout in thrid gear and put foot down everything starts to pull then the engine coughts and the car nearly stalls. I recover it and try again. Same thing happens twice more (3 times in all) Then finally he flys and no problems whatsoever.

Any suggestions

roundabout is more like a bend in the road mate. LOL

More like coughing and spluttering and dieing on me, as if it couldn't breath.

what RPM are you running in 3 gear on ""the bend""".....????

try taking the connector off the throttle position sensor and cleaning it with contact cleaner then puttin git back on.

 

Lost 2nd gear and it was stalling etc this weekend until i cleaned it up, its running beautifully now :D

Nope not yet,

 

Exhaust and Apexi air induction haven't chipped it yet. The problem didn't hasn't come back. Later in the day in fact he ran very smoothly, not further problems at all.

Could have been a block in your fuel system, dirty fuel filter etc... It could be caused my a number of things. Don't worry about until it happens again (if it ever does) ;)

I have this all the time when its wet, its my apexi getting wet from the vented front panel, one the large droplets have cleared its fine, gonna get round to knocking up a cover for my filter to sort it out

sounds like problems i had....... just before my MAF died :(
