Great news on my insurance
Update. Called Sky - very helpful bloke called Jason. Got me a quote FC and all the trimmings plus all mods covered. £315. Then had to check with my current insurer A Flux (who had said renewal was 375) and they wouldn't let me go - so they popped under the radar at 314. Whats a guy to do?? So Flux won the day again. International breakdown was an extra £45. so there we go.

Pienso que usted tiene que tomarlo a su tienda de computadora local y dejarles hacer para usted - es lo que hago cuando estoy en el problema. gracias Chris

Blimey, I just renewed my subscription 2 days ago - not a peck on the cheek, no flowers, no bunting, and no ticker tape from the rooftops. So, hey welcome back to me from me. Whooo Hoo...................

Petrol costs ???????????
Yeah funny how nobody likes the French til they show the ruling classes what it means to get their point across. I'm not advocating civil disorder. It's just that no-one in the UK voting public seems to realise the power of boycott or abstention. We could by 'organised' policy bring about change in regard to fuel prices, cameras, Road Pricing, Tolls, spy-in-the-car etc etc. You know why it'll never happen? Coz there's no will to be cohesive. Despite the Internet and instant messaging we in the UK, voting drivers that is, really couldn't organise much more than a Treasure Hunt at the local drinking well................... That's where the problem lies and where the solution lies. And those in power know it. secretly they dread the thought that the public could for once actually get organised and through peaceful but affirmative action, bring about the changes WE want instead of what those with rather short stubby snouts want.

Classic car insurance
Don't bother with Frankie if you have an import - won't do.

Great news on my insurance
Just to advise Lynbrooks don't do imports. Unless they're from the EU zone. I tried to convince the lady that Japan was recently adopted into the EU but I think she rumbled me............................

Petrol costs ???????????
74p a litre - ROFL. Dear Darlings fuel duty is higher than that. Unless they culled all the fat cats in the oil industry and grabbers at Govt level expect petrol to remain at rip off level. We could bring it down overnight. How? Stop buying petrol. Not boycott certain stations. Stop buying petrol. It worked in Oz when potatoes were mega expensive. They stopped buying spuds and guess what? Tumbled next day. It's supply and demand.

Petrol costs ???????????
There's only one person who can answer that.

C130 gunship in action
If that's what a 40mm cannon does to the opposition I think I want one for the front of my Zed. I'll declare it to the Insurance comp of course. I'll call it a 40mm lowering device. It certainly lowers..................

What Chip u Runnin.
Estimated bhp with JD remap and a Profec B series controller? any ideas? Gonna have to get a dyno done as my Insurance comp need the low down.
-
Petrol costs ???????????
My TT, with remap and boost controller - 270-280 per tank of fuel on a run. That comes down to about 150-180 with all short trips from cold. As stated you have to adopt a totally new mindset when owning a Zed. Not for the faint-hearted, not for poor drivers or just the plain poor either!! Mind you that will come in time........................

C130 gunship in action
Even I could see that was a 'snooker cue' of mass destruction. I didn't hear them say, '"Excuse me, armed officers, move away from the V-E-H-I-C-L-E-, drop your weapons, you have the right to remain silent, you have the right to an attourney, if you cannot afford one we'll supply one, anything you say,.... Oh crap - smoke 'em!!!"

Insurance Quotes who's Cheepest
I explored a Traders Policy as I'm entitled to one in another life BUT the cover is only for Trade meaning Book price. So if your car is worth 10k but only 3k in Parkers or Glasses Guide you're sort of stuffed..................

engine coughs splutters and gasps...
I wonder? There was a little 'adjustment' that JD did when we put the Profec B on................... having said that it's gone great for nearly 1700 miles since then.

engine coughs splutters and gasps...
OK maybe - but the problem seemed to completely go once cap was released. I'll monitor it for a few days. cheers

engine coughs splutters and gasps...
First time ever - the Zed started to let me know it wasn't happy. Local trip - engine coughs and misfires like it's gasping for breath. Changes gear a bit erratic due to engine revs see-sawing. Had a brainwave. Stopped. Opened the filler cap and a huge rush of air into the tank. Started up no problems. Now the tank was just under half full - and I always get a small suction on fill up days. Here's the question - is there si=upposed to be a vacuum in the tank at all? Is my filler cap supposed to breath? thanks ps guess is the tank was at such a vacuum inside the pump wasn't able to pull fuel through - an offers?
