    Its a possibility :)
  2. recently tried it with an airgun and couldnt get the bolt undone with that either!! If it is a manual, put it in gear and get someone to put their foot on the brake, the get a 24 or 36 inch bar and give it some welly. If It is an auto then use the belt wrap technique shown here. With respect to Mr Duff
  3. you know everyone is now searching your recent posts dont you :)
  4. that wildcat is a class A nutter.lol. Good reading tho
  5. looking at the various design for these they dont solve the problems caused by the intake for the back cylinders being longer. Would like to see a centre fed intake with "tuned" lengths to each cylinder, again the problem would be how to fit it into the car. Bonnet scoop in a supercharger stylee, anyone??
  6. How did we get from speeding to smoking? and how do people who drive 3 litre turbo charged cars (which incidentally chuck out more carcinogens in the first minute and a half of each morning startup than a smoker will if they smoke forty a day for their four score years and ten) get off on complaining about the dangers of having a fag? Smoking tax doesnt help the NHS? like bolox it doesnt! Not to mention the fact that we (smokers) die younger and relatively quickly while you non smokers last well into decrepit old age where you need 24hr nursing, do the national health service a favour you miserable sods and light one up! And further to the "drink costs x million a week" item, thats how the anti fag brigade started. Do you really think the "I know whats good for you brigade" are going to rest on their laurels when fags are banned? not on your nelly, they will move onto telling you about how you having a drink is leading your kids into trouble, adverts will be shown with young kids with a bottle of stella with a teat on it and so it will go on. So stand by and laugh whilst we who smoke fight the inevitable, cos you lot are next mate.
  7. apart from the cum on the numberplate, very nice :) Seriously would have to bin the plate

ps. you know this is the 300zx forum, cos you keep saying 350 and that is a different kettle of herring??
  9. In fact what you say is correct, the law of the land is there to be obeyed, to break it is to invite punishment. However, and this is where reality comes to stay, to say that someone eating a kit kat whilst driving a car is the same sort of low life scum who would steal a persons pride and joy for no other purpose than a 20 min joy ride round the local housing estate and a Gti barbecue with his mates is taking the "ideal" a little too far. If the fact was that you break the law = you get punished fair enough, but that is blatantly not the case, in fact it seems to be that if you break the law and hang around a bit , in daylight, without any form of moral support then you will get jumped upon from a great height, or you can register your car in your name, tax it, insure it and get the same result. Otherwise, you pretty much get off.

hi rymix, and welcome :) The most common configuration is the 2+2 LWB TT, if it is a 2 seater then it is the short wheel base. Also to be considered is the manual/ auto, not forgetting that there is an NA version available in all the configurations
  11. i used one of the little screws on the lower pipe to take a ring crimp then ran the wire to earth
  12. I understand the rationalle behind what you are saying but in this country of positive discrimination and proactive politics, it is also understandable that people are swinging towards the right. I would say that most of the people who vote/ would think of voting for the far right are concerned about what they see as the demonisation of white middle class british people. You only need to read the papers to see the situations that concern people ie if a british person wants to fly the Union Jack they are called "little englander" (most people seem to forget there are a few other countries involved, but ho hum) but a man can stand in a street in the middle of our capital city and decry our beliefs, way of life and wish death upon our citizens and go unmolested. There is a section of our "ruling elite" who have a set idea of how thiungs should be and they enforce it, irrespective of the views of the common people (by which I mean black/white/yellow/whatever). It doesnt matter to them that most immigrants are happy to think of themselves as British and muslim, asian, chinese, budhists whatever, these people want to enforce their view and that attitude is what will cause racial tension and incite the extremists on both sides
  13. water pump is easy to do, particularly with what you have already taken out of the engine bay :) The squeaking that you hear on start up, may be the viscous fan, which strangely enough sits on top of the water pump, I dont know if changing the water pump will cure it, or whether the fan needs to be changed also ???

I have used SE with no complaints, but am of the opinion that DIY is the way to go. As with others above John Dixon and Andy Duff have been a major help in times of need.
  15. Cos, Did you fit an earth to your new matrix mate??, if not you may find yourself doing it again all to sooon.
  16. Well, in the spirit of politics, myself and my esteemed good lady are stepping out of the limelight and p1ssing off for the weekend :)
  17. it is a little far for me mate, or did you mean the people who live in scotland :) rather than those who are from scotland
  18. just fitted one to my TT, standard look and sounds v. nice :)
  19. Is it posible that your positive terminal is breaking contact, the engine is draining all the power out the system (thereby resetting your ecu) and making contact again? a) you would be constantly going into "learning mode" and b) it would hide any fault codes. This may be a bit outlandish but its possible and I am a bit excited cos my pizza just turned up :)
  20. I was thinking of that special breed of burberry/ kappa wearing vermin. I reckon you should be allowed to "blow a little fart" in their left ear for crimes against fashion/ humanity/ just for p1ssing me off :)
  21. god forbid anyone on this forum should go off topic .roflmao Never mind foxes and fish, I reckon I should be issued with a silenced .22 and a couple of boxes of soft noses. Do some culling :)
  22. I asked a mate who is in insurance and as far as he knew the problem is not while you are driving it, but when its parked. You are covered under your policy to drive another car third party (at least) which is the minimum required but, and its a biggie, when you park the car and walk away your insurance goes with you, so the car is on the public highway uninsured. Simple answer, to me at least, is not to park it on the road.
  23. What about George Galloway's Respect Party? "If you want to sit on national TV under the protection of freedom of speech, which was fought and died for, and demand the killing of the very soldiers who protect your liberty - Vote Respect (Osama Bin Galloway)"
