Worse than that is white, middle class prep school boys singing about "how it is on the streetz" and people born in peckham talking in Jamaican patois, dont know how the jamaicans feel about it, but if some muppet born in england was running about talking in Glasgow slang it would a) make me think they were taking the piss and b) wind me right up :slap:
  4. big enough but its full of zeds at the moment mate :)
  5. Way I see it mate you have the two options: A) re-evaluate what you want on the car, sell the excess and use the money to finish her B) take it a day at a time and do it as you planned. My first thought is B, but it will be a grind and you will come to the same position in another 6 weeks, so the reality part of me says A, you might not end up with a MAcca beater, but you will have a zed on the road. :)
  6. where you going to find the space and the tools for all the bits james got to fit ??? :)

think they seize if they sit uncharged for any length of time. Or am I talking *****x?
  17. MAS is Moving air sensor. Go to the front of the car, there is a panel between the headlights, you remove it by lifting the bonnet and there are two ten mil screws, remove them and it should lift away. Now you will either see a big cone shaped bugger (aftermarket induction kit) which is connected to a cylinder with a connector on it, the cylinder is your mas. If , on the other hand you have a big lump of plastic, the cylinder will be attached to the top of it somewhere. If you subscribed, someone may be kind enough to tell you what to do with it, go on you know you want to :)
  18. The box is fast, pity randy drives like a big girls blouse :)

  20. sorry to see your zed go Dom, but dont be a stranger :)
  21. Yeah, wash and go mate :) I am a spark by trade, mostly benn involved in railway installation. The makita is for personal use, but I do a lot of homers as a spark, kitchen fitter, decorator, car repairer etc and hasnt let me down. It doesnt have the power of the dewalt, but it did come with two batteries and a charger and is less than half the price.
  22. As someone who collects tools (much to mrs jock's disdain) I would heartily recommend a set of these to be added to your garage, am contacting the guy as we speak :)
  23. Ive used the Makita and found it on par with bosch etc, had it for 2 years and hasnt let me down yet, the only one I found stood out from the named brands was DeWalt, but they are pricey :)
  24. if its a water hose at the back of the engine it sounds like it could be your heater matrix hoses, two of them at the back of the engine.
  25. cant remember all the points I have had on mine, most outstanding were : Speeding with no designated leader 6 points (they call it racing ) 97 in a 40 Banned, £600 fine, payable immediately ( I literally had to ask for permission to leave the court to go to a bank cos I didnt have 600 quid on me FFS) (7.30am, bright sunny morning, WSB round, Fireblade, say no more) 120 on the M20 six points ("didnt you see my colleague on the overbridge?", " What fooking overbridge??") 115 on one of the N roads in Northern Ireland (Northwest 2000), chased by the Garda (trying to knock us off the bikes) escorted to the ferry. Returned to the court day to find all six of us had been banned for 2 years (from driving in NI...boohoo  )
