  1. which length do you want, the length of the top pf the door (bottom of the glass?
  2. I have one mate, off my NA, would imagine its the same, it is not stuck to the glass per se, it is wedged under the glass and may have stuck to some of the bonding. The one I have is not perfect , but if you think it will help, give me a shout
  3. would have to agree. who told you mike, cos yours look fook all like that
  4. if you have a jap set of clocks, with the speed converter, you may have knocked one of the wires loose, have you checked all the plugs at the back are in right, it sounds like you have lost your speed signal, IIRC it is on the white plug on the rear of the speedo, it is a green an yellow wire, there are two the speed sensor wire is the second one from the top (I think)
  5. You just squeeze the bottom amd push them out. Halfords do a set which replace them

An explanation: Super HICAS (to give it its full name) (High Capacity Actively Controlled Suspension) basically uses the angle of the rear wheels to "assist" the steering of the car, it is speed sensitive and at lower speeds will angle the front and rear wheels in different directions ( effectively understearing the car) and then bring them into a corner, then bring them back into alignment throught the corner (to improve your exit). As the speed increases the difference between the angle of the two sets of wheels will decrease. To disengage it: to do it pop the bonnet and have a look at the hicas unit you will see a small redish /brown connector separate this connector when you separate it you will have 1 part towards the front of the car the other towards the rear. simply connect a loop of wire across the two pins in the forward part. the hicas is now disabled. There is a method whereby you can disconnect the HICAS by shorting out a plug. John Dixon or baggins are the people to talk to, or do a search on it , was mentiuoned in a thread with pics before
  17. wasnt there a 300 with a skyline engine conversion?
  18. 1 psi = 0.06894757bar 14=0.965, 15=1.034, 16=1.103, 17=1.172, 18=1.241, 19=1.31, 20=1.378, 21=1.447, 22=1.516, 23=1.585, 24=1.654, 25=1.723 All approximate of course ;)

what you have got to remember is the 220bhp claimed as standard is on a bench driven, brand new engine. You are trying to tune a 13 yr old engine that will be far from tight. To achieve the claimed bench BHP in an engine that old is saying something. Ask how many of the standard turbos are pulling the 280/300 bhp that was claimed. Many of the TTs with pipe, chip and induction are struggling to find that. Basically what I am saying is be realistic about what you have , and then what you hope to achieve. There are NA chips around. Andy P and Andy Z both have one, I have two and there are others in existence.
  20. the pic is not very clear, but if it is a steel braided cable it could be from the cats, as that is where the gubbins for the cat heat sensor should be mounted, if it is it will fo down thew side of the prop hump and into the floor. HTH
  21. any pics of this?
  22. you might love it, but your tyres wont, if you are not bang in a straight line, with good tyres, you are going into a hedge mate :)
  23. it is sick, but its also bloody funny :)
  24. I dont even want to think about how gutted he was, but he will be happier if it is going to someone who will look after it. Do you remember if your stearing feel changed, when the limiter cut in? It happened to me that way, everybody said it was the speed sensor (the power steering is affected by speed) but as posted above it was the box of tricks, they seem to go whenever they feel like it,, which is why I changed for the uk spec clocks
  25. if the sum of the expected toys is more than 100bhp on top of the 300 the car is chucking out as standard then you want to consider uprating the internals and the clutch. Also if you are chucking NOS on there consider a controller, turbos spool up , NOS comes on in one hit!!
