  1. Hi fankyuuu :)
  2. Hi arthur, good to see you settled in mate. Youll be plesed to know your old engine is currently being rebuilt, thanks again for your help. Regards Hugh
  3. Go with ryan on this, defo a dash out scenario, even now that I know where all the bits are I would still take the dash out.
  4. In my experience bud, keyboard Ninjas and Phonebox samurai are nowt to be worried about. Guy is probably lying in his cot w@nking in his own faeces, thinking about how hard he is.
  5. water dripping from under the car could be the air conditioning, it takes moisture out the air and vents it through a small pipe under the car, confuses a lot of people. Other wise, as SRAE says, sould be a small coolant leak, dip your finger in and smell the fluid, if it is clean water, I would think air con
  6. air lock could also cause the hissing sound, as the air escapes through the cap spring into the expansion tank.
  7. This you bragging about your holiday then? :D
  8. Ive done three of these now, and never had any major problem with any of them. The spoiler will come in a gel coat, which may require some light filling and definately a spray job. With care taking off the original, and no rust damage underneath, you can then bond the painted item onto the car relatively easily. Some will say get it painted on the car, its an opinion. I uses silcaflex22 to bond the spoiler on, you can use the nissan kit, but it is expensive and to my mind fiddly. The only experience I have had with the infill panel , is that the one I had leaked. you can do this just by taking the wheel off. It looks as if you cant because there is a rotor guard around the disk, but you will find a gap big enough to get the stud in and out by rotating the wheel and lining up each stud. Its fiddly, but well possible:)
  10. Just looked at that body kit, its the same as is on mine, must remember to add that to my sig "special edition"
  11. Thought about the insurance issue, depends on whether they figure out I did it instead of a ban. Cant think that'd help :)
  12. I looked at this and tbh the only thing I noticed was how badly fitted that front end is, its pulled well out of shape
  13. I did similiar, but used a very low speed drill. Only on the basis that it was too slow to cause a spark and the fuel would dissipate any heat caused, and the tank was full to the brim, so not enough air in there to ignite. :slap:
  14. absholutely sir :)
  15. Following my recent thread on being pulled for dangerous driving I got a letter from the police. They reasoned that they had enough evidence for driving without due care (which is not as bad as Dangerous driving) but have offered me the chance to attend a National Driver improvement scheme instead of going to court. Let me see: Day in court, possible ban and probable heavy fine against £175 for above course.......can I ask the audience? Had a silly moment where I thought about writing back with the argument that if , as alleged, I was driving at twice the speed limit on a road with three dangerous bends (two decreasing radius and one seriously off camber) surely that shows that I was paying lots of attention. But Mrs Jock giving me a right hander brought me back to reality :mac1:
  16. I had the same problem in my NA, I am not going to tell you how I did it, cos I was a very naughty boy ;)
  17. I fitted one of these for cybernet, looks very nice on :)
  18. think its because there are two (or three) nursing colleges up there. Nurses....mmmmmm
  19. SPLITTER
  20. or you could just go to your local dive shop and pick a tub of it up for pennies. Its use to lubricate the rubber hoses on BA sets
  21. Dont know about stamp colecting, in a room full of things like that it would be stomp colecting for me.
  22. Had exactlythe same thing happen to me this year with my dail driver insurance, guy ran into back of me on M25, eight months later they hadnt sorted it out and reduced my 7yrs NCB to 2yrs. I made a complaint about their inaction and they offered me compensation which I insisted was the same mount as I would lose over the next two years. They paid. Worst thing was I took evidence to the cops of the guy who hit me, showing that he had bought 4 vans from a tader and had, up till then (2 years later) not registered or insured any of them (including the one he hit me with) and they refused to act.
  23. Another good day at the grasshopper, some of the old crowd, some new and a couple of guys from the Z-club, made for a good afternoon. Shame Steve (the organiser) forgot about it :slap: Some pics:
  24. I think he is mad as a box of frogs, but its his life and he has bigger b0lls than me.
