  1. I used a dremmel with a cutting blade to cut the plastic and a stanley knife for the top layer of vinyl, as ian said there is a plastic pipe to the left of the hole for the air ducts, try not to muller that, and there is the plastic strengthening bar to cut through, as ian's write up without the hospital visit lol. Cheers Graham
  2. I used an epoxy glue that sets in 5 mins to mount it and used a small amount of black sealant around the edges, if your are using 3m or double sided tape, use alcohol wipes or similar to get rid of any silicon from the area of the dash or it wont stick, you could use adhesive promotor also which will help it stick. Ianl used silcon sealant and used a couple of clamps and some foam to hold it down till it sets HTH cheers Graham
  3. Cheers bud, I wasnt too happy when the guages first arrived as they were supposed to be white faced, to match the dash clocks, however, ive grown to like them as they are more discreet. cheers Graham
  4. dont bother with the sound as you will just get bonging, looks pretty cool. Enjoy
  5. Hi Guys, i just fitted my new dash pod and guages, after seeing ianl's i knew i just had to have some. Tll me what you think. Cheers Graham
  6. Hi It looks like you have tried to add the AT instead of @, so it should be paypal@300zx.co.uk HTH Cheers Graham
  7. Are you sure you have enough lights?:D Will be good to see what they look like on the car. I have recently fitted 6 pot leds on mine and at night they look great. Still not sure whether i like them during daylight, but getting used to them. All the best with the rest of your mods Graham
  8. I will be honest my back bumper needs doing badly as it has a few bubbles coming up and some flaking paint, which leads me to the conclusion that the previous owner hadnt had it done properly when the car was painted. Im sure that when the rear bumper is off the car the strengthening braces are left on the car, which leaves you with the thinner shell of the rear bumper to contend with, it might be worth either bracing up the bumper, spraying it then fitting the whole item to the car or getting it resprayed when its back on the car, after all, the edges and nooks will have been done during the previous effort. Cheers Graham
  9. Plasticizer, thats the stuff lol It was sprayed off the car, sat in my garage for months then i put it on a couple of weeks ago and no problems, its a 99 spec, so is not fibreglass like some aftermarket ones so although more rigid still can bend when off the car. Cheers Graham
  10. They may not have added a flexable paint promoter,( not sure of exact name) which is needed for poly and fibre glass bumpers to be flexable with the body panel, so the paint doesnt crack or stretch, i had that done to mine for an extra £50 and have had no problems at all. HTH Cheers Graham
  11. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=380049830086&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=025 I Just bought 3 gauges from the company above to go in my new 3 pod dash guage from the z centre, i have EL dials in the dash so should match quite nicely and best of all good value for money. There is a youtube link on the page with a vid of the gauge working. Let me know your thoughts cheers Graham
  12. Hi Maz Could be your auto oil cooler blocked or not performing as it should or maybe an oil change. PS. should have the decat pipes ready sometime next week if you still want them. Cheers Graham

Women eh,:nono: gotta love em, but after being in relationships for the past 20 odd years, i have been single now for nearly 18 months and at first you do miss the companionship and cuddles but i have never been happier on my own, we still go out occasionally for a meal and text now and then. In the beginning of the break up its always hard, not just because you still care for each other, but because you got used to being together, we just drifted apart over time and were more like mates. Its harder for you Chris with having a little boy, that keeps you seeing each other, sometimes feelings can over ride thoughts of just being friends. In answer to your question tho, sometimes you feel like going out to meet someone new or maybe a one night stand, but it wont change how you feel about your ex. How would you feel if she found someone new? If you want to get back together, then bide your time, bite your lip and it will come if its meant to be. Sorry for the lifestory and lecture,:) HTH All the best Graham
  14. There is one on ebay for sale. Brand new
  15. "The question is - is the speedo clock driven by variable voltage from sensor or variable frequency?" Variable voltage, you may find the power steering also affected by this problem. Common cause is usually dry joints on the circuit board on the back of the speedo clock, its a case of taking the dash clocks out and taking the speedo module out to gain access to the board, then reflow fresh solder over any parts of the solder that look dull on the tracks, a dry joint is not always visible, so best to go over all the tracks on the board. HTH Cheers Graham
  16. Ive sorted it, cheers mario for pointing out the obvious. I say obvious, the lights were already wired when i got them and have just discovered that the black on the led rings is the feed and not the brown as you would expect. Cheers Graham
  17. Hi Mario, i know the + and - issues, they work when i connect a voltage adaptor, but not when i try them with the light feed. I will try swapping the wires as its the only thing i havent tried. Did you just wire yours into the existing light feed? Cheers for the reply Graham
  18. I have just fitted some 6 pot rear led lights and there doesnt appear to be enough voltage from the rear light supply to power them. I tried a 9v adaptor and they worked. Has anyone fitted these themselves and if so if i have missed something, advice would be most appreciated. Cheers Graham
  19. Hi Maz Just fitting my new shocks at the minute, which is a real pain in the arse. My new pipes and manifold has arrived, so thats my next job, as long as the weather stays dry cos im doing it on my drive. Hopefully get them done this week and then pm you re: decat downpipes. I have kept the box that the new ones came in so will be ready to post. Whenever you like with the pods and dash leds, just let me know colour combinations etc when youre ready to go ahead. Cheers Graham
  20. Did you disconnect the battery when fitting? as you will need to reset the ecu to learn the new settings. Also check the plug and wires to the maf, that can cause idle issues and possibly clean the maf filament of dust or debris with either compressed air ( in a can from maplins or tyre line)HTH Graham
  21. Order non turbo el dials and that will cure the problem.
  22. I think you have to get an insurance assessor to value it, i'm sure some guys on here have done it and will let you know, forget the motor guides, every car is worth fookall in them.
  23. the funniest thing is the commentary from those guys pmsl
