  1. I thought about it months ago lol. You can get the led strips from ebay from a guy who sells them for £29.95 or you can get them from Hong Kong for £2.99 each strip, i have ordered a couple to try out. The only pain is getting the headlight apart then setting the strip at the right height cos there is a lip at the bottom of the headlight. Can be done though, and wire it up to the sidelights. Cheers Graham
  2. Certainly was, just picked up my manual gearbox from (bassologist) in London. Was it really noisy then. Cheers Graham Ps. Hows little 'un doing, keeping you two awake at night lol
  3. Happy birthday Paul, :duffer: only just got back from picking up my manual gearbox, your ign ring will be in the post tommorrow, all the best Graham:

  5. Hi Dean can you pm me your name and return address for your pods please, you forgot to include them in the package. Cheers Graham
  6. You can buy the parts no doubt, the only problem with a new one is the setting for calibration. Best mark the old one with tipex or something similar on the body next to the line/indent of the pot, use a small screwdriver and count the turns till it stops, left or right, doesnt matter as long as you remember which way you have turned it. And set the new one to the same amount of turns. Still no foolproof garauntee that it will be calibrated. Cheers Graham
  7. Hi james, its one of the pcb mounted adjusters for speedo calibration. The best thing to do is to get hold of another speedo, like the one meht is selling and either replace the whole speedo module, only 3/4 screws i think, or de-solder just the pot from the speedo and re-solder the replacement into yours. The only problem you may face with doing this, is that the pot ,may not be set the same if its been adjusted from another car, so i would go with option 1. HTH cheers Graham
  8. Happy birthday Sarah, between you and Andy i piss myself with some of your banter, keep it up:duffer: All the best Graham
  9. Thats great news Athene, is it too late to get the farm back? Its about time the old fooker stepped down after 28 years of crippling a country. Lets hope he doesnt wriggle out of this one lol. All the best Graham
  10. Hi, Cant be 100%, but i think the tube runs into the top of the wing area, sorry not more specific, but i doubt it actually runs into the footwell. Best of luck Graham
  11. Done Mick, best of luck to you fella. Cheers Graham
  12. No I dont do that, not worth it till i get the manual box in lol. Cheers Graham
  13. Cheers guys, I am changing the disc and new pads etc, while its off (soon) i may as well change the shoes, so havent checked yet to see if they are good or bad. The handbrake works fine at the mo, just thought i would change them while it was all off. Cheers Graham
  14. There have been a few of their creations for sale on pistonheads, when they did the london version, i dont think they managed to sell 1 car, you normally get locked up for chop and cutting a car, but great entertainment, i wouldnt trust any of their cars at speed tho and they never show you the finishing off bits..
  15. As above, part number and where to get them and price please, ive done a search and not any info, if anyone can help. Cheers Graham
  16. Cheers znut, thats interesting i will try to avoid tills next time lol, with my keys anyway. Hi Tulip, i am working that weekend but im off on the sun 11th depending what time everyone is there till, i would like to make it along for the day. I can get there at silly o'clock in the morning so time is not a problem, its only if everyone is leaving about lunchtime then i might not. Cheers Graham
  17. Hi ThereTulip, im doing well, still spending money on the baby, hope your doing well. How is Mick, did he sell or keep it, he hasnt been on the forum for a while, hope he is ok too. Im might change the battery in the fob, just a bit worried it might wipe the code if i take the battery out, got to look into that. Take care Graham
  18. Hi, I have been to this particular shop on numerous occasions without a problem, if it was a frist time i would probably agree, i think it was interference from something, rather than a fault with the alarm. Cheers Graham
  19. I wonder if this has happenned to anyone else: I went to a local shop pressed the key fob on my toad Ai606 to lock and alarm, I then came out of the shop, pressed the button to unlock and nothing... The light on the fob came on everytime i pressed the button but nada.. stood in the freezing cold wondering WTF, walked around the car, pressing and pressing. 10mins later i pressed the button again and it opened, what a relief. When i got home and parked it on the drive, i tried it again and it locked and unlocked everytime i pressed the button, it is as though someone had some sort of blocker or some sort of toy to piss people off with car alarms... As i say it was very strange and i didnt want to leave it outside the shop all night, especially on a friday with all the dipsticks about. Any ideas?? Cheers Graham
  20. Take the top of the dash housing off, 2 screws, behind the clocks to the left of the speedo at the back of the dash housing there is a little black box, you can take the connector off and hey presto, no pinging. Doing this though will disable door open warning when the sidelights are on. Hope this helps Cheers Graham
  21. I got it from the other ebay seller doing the kits (ktgo), i actually paid with the postage £62, had to wait over 5 weeks for one kit and got the second one shortly after, so they assumed it got lost in the post from the US, so i ended up with 2 and just recouping the cost of the initial kit without postage.
  22. I bought a set and for the money you cant go wrong
  23. Speadfreak, If you want, i will finish fitting my kit this week and take some pics, i have a spare kit cos they sent me 2 by mistake, first one got lost in the post for a few weeks. If you want, i can send it to you to have a look and offer the pieces up to your trim and if you like it, yours for what i paid £45, i will include the postage in that price and if you dont think its for you, just send it back to me in one piece, nothing to lose. Cheers Graham
