My windscreen wipers stopped working on tues just as it started peeing it down and had to drive to silverstone with no wipers. The plastic cup at the bottom of the wiper motor has broken, it attaches to the rod which turns the wipers. Has anyone got one or a wiper motor that is still intact. Urgent cos i use the car as a daily driver and wont really be able to use it when it rains. Any help appreciated. Cheers Graham

I used the offside reverse light with a red led bulb and ita passed the MOT. Just re route the wire from the high level break light and wire it in to the reverse light, easy job.

Did you not bother with the sub out then, is that why you got it louder?

Phil I noticed you have two inputs to your sub, i only have one sub output from my stereo, did you use a splitter or something different? Cheers Graham

It weighs bugger all, it fits halfway under the seat but im not getting much volume from it at the mo, probably need to to wire it differently.

Just got this, it fits under the drivers or passenger seat, so instead of fillinf the whole car with bass you can also feel it under the seat. Ive been buying off ebay for years and never not had an item turn up within a week unless from Hong Kong, I always check the sellers feedback before i buy and usually from an established seller, so i dont think i've been scammed, just think that most people send stuff out as quick as they used to.

Dont know about you but i'm getting increasingly pissed off with the post in this country and the lack of urgency from people you buy things from. I've spent over £600 in the last 2 weeks on various goodies for the car, mostly off ebay (no comment) I pay instantly and usually go for "Buy it Now" as i am impatient and want stuff yesterday, what has arrived so far? Nothing. :confused: I'm still waiting for the front brake discs, over 4 weeks now, they said they went out last monday ( my arse) i mean the 21st, not the monday just gone, never phone me back, i got to call every day to chase them and i've been polite all the way with this company. By the way these were not from ebay. Anyway rant over

Hi Dan, i have just fitted both, look and sound great. Nice gurgle at low revs, nice sound when booted, the only drone i get now is at about 2000 revs, but not unbearable. although they fit together well, you might need to jiggle the x pipe a bit to the decat downpipes, i had a slight blow at first but there is some movement to do this. Well worth the money in my opinion. Hope this helps Graham

cheers guys, the only other thing i noticed about the housing, is that the little grub screw you normally undo to get the glass out is not there on either and they dont seem to want to come apart, any ideas before i muller them. Thanks Graham

I have jap folding mirrors, drivers side motor is bust, so bought a pair from ebay a while ago in pearl white. Trouble is, mine have the small connector block and the new ones have a larger one. Am i right in thinking that the extra wires are for the heated mirror section and if so, anyone got a simple wiring diagram? Cheers Graham

By the stock holder, do you mean the left and right brackets or is there something missing.

I have just ordered a dvd/cd/mp3 player and a dvd fold out screen :hyper: I have a stereo in at the moment and its sort of wedged between the left and right brackets and apart from the cage at the front, thats the only thing holding it secure. As im now putting in 2 units whats the best way to secure them: ie should there be something else with the standard brackets to hold the stereo in place. Although there are some screw holes in the brackets, there is nothing in the side of the stereo to secure to. Any ideas, greatly appreciated. Cheers Graham

The de-cat pipes are a bit closer to the gearbox i found, than the originals, just have to pry it away from the gearbox a bit. If you havent fitted a catback system as well you will find the drone inside the car at about 2000revs a bit unbearable after a while. You need the x pipe (mixer) to tone the drone down. I find with the whole system done, it is a bit more responsive, but i have to be honest, i much prefer the original system, much quieter inside the car.

He can do any colour you like.

I may be taking my car up to him to measure and fit and take photos for " How to". He is quite excited about it and the price will be a hell of a lot cheaper than kits available. He wants to fit the panels to make sure that the measurements are correct and that enables him to sell the trim panels as an exact fit with very little adjusting. Will keep you posted, bear in mind that these will be initially done for 2+2 as well as the console cover he is currently selling.

I have just spoken to the guy and if someone is prepared to send the console lid for the swb, he will do it for you free of charge to use as a template. Im sending him some pics of all the interior panels that can be covered and he has someone going around to his with a zed for him to look at. He is based in New Malden and not southampton as it states in the ebay add. I think someone from here who lives nearby is taking his motor for a measure up.
