Hi Trish, my mobile is 07976 531033 if you have any problems. Have you found out the price of the taxi yet, you may be in for a shock? Cheers Graham
  2. Fair enough, i can imagine its frustrating to say the least. Are you after new part prices or second hand? Obviously new if the insurance are paying for it and getting the job done or second hand if doing it yourself. http://www.courtesayparts.com will give show the part numbers, which will help you get a price from Nissan if no-one gets back to you. All the best Graham
  3. "would really appreciate some help as my insurance assesor has just told me off the record that if i offer to help with sourcing things then they are more likely to get their arse in gear....." That sounds like a cop out to me, thats their job for ffs, why should you have to do the groundwork. The reason we pay through the nose for insurance is to get it all sorted if there is a problem. I hope you get it sorted bud. Cheers Graham
  4. yep deffo, arriving early friday morning, before lunch anyway
  5. 24215Q looks like the part number on courtesy nissan site. http://www.courtesyparts.com
  6. If you change the whole speedo unit it will, but just changing the dial face will not. The R10 resistor in the back of the speedo can be changed, which will make the clock read in MPH, the KPH dial face at 30KPH will read as 30MPH, but you will need to calibrate it, using the pots on the board. The oddometer will then read in MPH cos the pulse is also changed. I tried this mod and it wasnt very accurate without adjusting the pots on the board, so i bought a delimiter and works fine. HTH Graham
  7. I agree, even with the new downpipes with silencers i just fitted from the z centre im thinking of going back to stock cats. Tickover and low revs is fine, when you boot it sounds great, but not in the early hours of the morning.
  8. Hi Bud, no problem mate, when you get passed 40 i feel like missing it too lol
  9. yep, mine was louder, i just fitted some downpipes with silencers which makes it more bearable inside, but to be honest, if i had the choice i would have left it stock imo.
  10. youre not odd, each to their own and all that, i just think tinting them you will get the best of both worlds, better shade from the sun, but still enough light getting through. Anyway i think this thread has been done to death, so im just gonna get on with it:smash:
  11. Hi Vini, Its looking great and as you say it doesnt have to be perfect as once colour sanded and mopped it will take out alot of little discrepencies. Did you get advice from a paint supplier on the primer and top coats? ie: type of compatible paints, as when i originally prepped my '99 spec bumper, i used a rattle can primer in several layers after rubbing down each time to get as smooth as possible, then when i took it to a professional to get it finished, he reckoned he would have to rub down and re-prime as the base coat may not be compatible with the rattle can primer. What combination are you using? Cheers Graham
  12. I could always remove the locking pins for a better finish and not bother putting them back on, as i never use the shades anymore and most likely never will. Back to the coffin statement: it was worse with tinted side windows(driver and pass), so i replaced them with standard glass and much better. I also found at night it was harder to see out at junctions, but fine during daylight.
  13. Hi Lisa, i was hoping you'd be at JAE to do them, the thread was a bit of a hint lol. If i have to do it myself, do the plastic tabs that hold the shades come off or do i have to cut round them. Cheers Graham
  14. Thats a bummer about the orange contest, you could always do it without him, you could track up the other git parts and you havent changed your band members as such, just omitting one. Just a thought
  15. Hi Mick, nice to see you back again. Sounds amazing, where do you get your inspiration? There is a huge market for soundtrack music and i think with the right break or contact you will do it bud. All the best and dont be a stranger Graham
  16. Its always the way Leigh, just as you are getting somewhere, either someone leaves or becomes a twat, we did a new demo in march and one of my girl singers who was with me for 6 years left to move to Dubai at the end of march. Mind you i know where i would rather be lol. Good luck with finding a replacement. Cheers Graham
  17. untinted in the winter is good but when the sun beats down, which isnt that often at the moment to be fair, but the roof glass visually will also match the limo tints on the rear window, i think it might be cooler inside the cabin as well( i know....open a window or put the a/c on) on a hot day, i'll give it a go.
  18. Cheers Trish, ive had a nice quiet day lol, See you in a couple of weeks Graham
  19. Im after tinting my targa's so the light still comes into the cab but shades from the sun slightly. I have targa shades, but with them on it feels like you are in a coffin imo. Has anyone tried this and if so what are your feelings? Cheers Graham
  20. :duffer::duffer::duffer::duffer::shock::hurl::
  21. Cheers guys, sun is shining as well so could be a good day all round. Cheers Graham
  22. Hi Paul They are plasma guages from Mcgill motorsport http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=380049830086&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=025 Cheers Graham
  23. Hi Maz, and anyone else who might be interested, this is the ebay link to the guy i get the 5way led dash bulbs from, you only need 4 bulbs, but this link supplies 5 as a package and are the cheapest i have found anywhere. They come from Hong Kong and will take 4-5 days for delivery but for the price, worth the wait. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5x-194-168-W5W-5-LED-BLUE-Refractor-Wedge-Bulbs-Lights_W0QQitemZ200246638563QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item200246638563&_trkparms=72%3A984%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 He is a reliable source and no-one should have any problems. Why am i putting this link up? I used to get them from another source who is no longer doing the 5way leds and they used to cost me £10 for 4, this is also the amount i charged to members, so did not profit from the re-sale. There is no point in me ordering them, getting them posted to me and then me forward them on to you. So i thought i would share the info with fellow members. Cheers Graham
  24. Cheers bud, no its carbon fibre effect, a dash kit from the US that is resin coated about 3mm thick to give it the raised effect, i didnt bother with the screen vents as they dont meet up properly and will also creat sun glare.
  25.:rofl::rofl: thats just made my day, providings the sun stays out lol And by the way Paul dont bother with talk talk either they have more drop outs than a guinea pig, its free, but shite lol
