  3. You lose the low fuel light with EL dials fitted, some have relocated in a spare along the bottom of the dash where the warning lights are
  4. Welcome to the club and get some pics up lol
  5. Hi zedwizz, If you are going to be selling hundreds and offering lots of other items then it might be considered trading, in which case you would have to go through the correct channels, however if this is a service you are offering to members at no huge profit then there isnt a problem. You just need to send a PM to the club secretary, explaining what you are offering and get it placed in the member services directory. Contrary to belief, we are all for services which benefit the members of this club and welcome new ideas and suggestions Graham
  6. :happybday: have a day off from your zed lol :happybday:
  7. :happybday: have a nice day :happybday:
  8. I have answers to lots of questions, they may not all be in the right order or to the right person:tt2: but you will be fine :winkiss:
  9. Should be fine as long as the output states it can handle 55w, but to be honest ive seen a few that can do both, most are designed to do the same.
  10. Not necessarily, its more likely an electronic component, valve, transistor or at the power stage, capacitor or dry joint. If a speaker is on its way out it will start to crackle or fuzz when you play through it or wont work at all. I would get it serviced and mention to the shop the symptoms you are having
  11. The inside of the projector lens can be cleaned in situe, using a bit of mico fibre cloth cut to about 2" square on the end of a paintbrush, although you can get the meguiars swabs from Halfors that will do the trick. To clean the rest, its headlight out really. I thought mine looked clean until i gave them a clean with a white cloth, you tend to get a thin film of grime build up in the projector lens. My first set of HID's were 35w and combined with the grime on the lens, didnt look very bright at all. I then used the 55w HID's, before cleaning the lens and they were much brighter, for obvious reasons, but since ive had the lights apart and cleaned all the glass, i have to say a big difference and although a pain in the ass, a worthwhile job.
  12. Very nice, did you etch the boards yourself?
  13. In that case buy one from halfords for £8.99 and then take it off, the point of these is to fit and never worry about it again:yes:
  14. A nice job, well done, its always good to see someone doing some worthwhile mods. My only criticism, it could do with being more densely populated with leds, so you dont see them through the lens so distinctively, im sure he will look at that as he perfects the design.

  16. Use stronger glue, i redid mine in leather and have had no problems over a year later
  17. You Might find your lenses need cleaning, on the inside of the glass and especially the projector lens. I upgraded to 55w HID as well as cleaned them and they are superb.
  18. Sometimes up to 7 days, depending on the type of bank/account
  19. Its done sometimes to stop the clutch on the aircon from engaging, either thinking it will save on fuel, or needed a regas and couldnt be arsed. Stick a relay back in and try it, it will either work or it wont, no damage to the engine will be done.
  20. There is an Nissan ISO plug loom available, what that does, is make the connections from the car, then you have to crimp, chock block etc to the new stereo. The wires on the ISO are labeled, so it makes it easier to connect to the wires on an aftermarket stereo.
  21. The targa drain pipe is clear or opaque and thicker in diameter than a vac pipe, also wouldnt come out at the fuses near the brake servo
  22. Its held in with clips, just pull it, easier to start from the bottom where the clock is.
  23. Has the car been decatted? It sounds like the AIV vacuum pipe has been disconnected.
  24. There are 2 behind the plastic strip above the stereo din and there are the two in each corner of the top vent, behind plastic covers. It will then lift out, there are some spring push in clips, if you have all the screws out, these are what is holding it in. Just pull it out and it will lift out of the clips. HTH
