  1. Quick glance at the title looked like ass banger lol
  2. Gunsen do a bleed kit, but it doesnt come with the correct brake cap, i purchased the Nissan brake cap and still didnt work, kept popping the seal it was supposed to make, but the other option is to buy the gunsen easibleed kit and modify an old brake cylinder cap with to do the job.
  3. Great news Al, give me an email when you are ready and we can talk groover@300zx.co.uk
  4. Back boxes wont make much difference, it sounds like the cats were removed, which act as a silencer and therefore sounds like its running straight through to the rear boxes. You can buy downpipes with silencers which help, also check to see if you have the X pipe just before the rear axle.
  5. Great news Stu, you stuck at it and all the hard work paid off in the end, now enjoy
  6. Hi Brandon, i have indeed received your email and have posted up for discussion in the committee room, will be in touch soon. Cheers Graham
  7. I dont see how it blocks the flow of the inter cooler, the air comes in at the front and into the pipe, not straight past it, surely Nissan, when designing the system would have dealt with it had it been a problem.
  8. I ran without the overflow bottle for a while and kept losing water, i put it back and stopped losing water, so that may tell you something lol, along with the similar advice to keep it above.
  9. Sorry to hear about your news mate, hope you can sort it for the best. Please be aware, you will have to subscribe to sell here.
  10. Lately i drive mine when its below the empty line lol, my light doesnt bother coming on as its got used to it, but i reckon about a tenners worth at or just below the line. Dependent on accuracy of the gauges of course.
  11. In photobucket got to the link (looks like a chain) above the photo and press, then at the bottom of the menu, it says get image codes for forums etc.. click once and it will copy the link, then right click in your post and paste and the full pic will appear
  12. i might just spray the whole car with it lol
  13. Ive just read the plastic film is applied to the top coat of paint, stop guard i think its called, or you can get a spray film.
  14. I thought there was some sort of thin film you can layer over the top, iirc Jason ( The BEAST) mentioned something similar he had done on his, might be something to prevent stone chips or splitting.
  15. Happy Birthday Phil, hope you are doing well.
  16. Or more filler lol. Problem in the past it had a prang, before my time, so when i came to fit the panel initially, it was slightly out on the drivers side, hence blending it in, obviously doing that has opened up the issue lol Good idea though, will give it a try.
  17. If you dont intend to have a gauge, then replace the sensor with an original one piece hose.
  18. Dave a little advice if you can, my one piece rear light panel which is blended in, after a while with the body movement ends up with little cracks where the fibreglass panel meets the metal. I tried P40 fibre glass filler, plastic bumper filler, which is supposed to be flexible, looks great for a few weeks then little cracks appear again. Before i waste time in painting it, what would you suggest to be the best way to stop this from happening. Cheers
  19. Anything that makes the mod easier can only be a good thing and no politics here mate, all input is greatly appreciated, we have a couple of electronics boffins in the club and its great to see it injected with new ideas and enthusiasm, so dont ever think you are treading on anyones toes lol
  20. Just a few close ups will do bud, i couldnt be arsed to look through that many lol
  21.:lol: I think its about time that some of the mods are updated with write ups, can only help in the future:wink:
  22. A lot of car for little money, should be a fun project.
  23. As Yowser said, just buy a repair kit for yours, its unlikely the housing etc is at fault.
  24. Its an aftermarket water temp sensor for an after market water temp gauge
