Anyone know how to post a link to an old thread? There must be some way - my browser (or whatever it's called) always just says http://www.300zx.co.uk in that window at the top. How can you get the whole web address?

Annual Elections
Of course - WE. We should never let them know too much detail so when we strike they won't know what hit them. Surprise will be on our side and victory will be swift. I've abandoned the previous Lion King strategy and have a new one based loosely on the 1982 film flop 'Excallibur'.

Annual Elections
Someone weak and easily crushed!

Any ideas????
Hi there. I think upping the boost has to be the cheapest way. I think you need to chip the ECU too though.

Z in a new film
Probably an American film and probably an American car. Great to see a Zed in (another!) film though. (it's probably the 'connosieur's choice' 2+2, auto, NA version  )

wheel help
That's the tyres are 225/40-18. Some would say they're a bit thin for a TT although Japanese ones came on 225s. I'd say check the speed rating of the tyres - you need a V for a NA and a Z for a TT. I'm not too sure about the wheels themselves - one of the clever lads will probably know though.

OMG I just realised....
Takes one to know one. :p

wheel help
I think the correct offset is 35-38. 42 MIGHT be ok. Do you know what the PCD or centre bore sizes are? Also what size are the wheels themselves?

Oh! did I mention......................?
Nice one Vinni - hope it all goes ok - the hours sound a lot better!

Bizarre people you fancy
Hurrah for Nigella Lawson's chest! I'd bum her into the middle of next week. ;)

Annual Elections
When I seize power there will be no more elections - and a lot of burned feet! Until then elections sound good!
-
I'll be off then!
Peach.... I do understand but it's a real shame to see you leave. That Skyline sounds sweeet though - hope to see it sometime soon.

My resignation from REO
Ivan - very sorry to hear you're standing down - I thought you did a top job as REO. Hope to still see you at meets mate.

Annual Elections
Interesting, interesting. Perhaps we should have them soon then?

Annoying Habits Poll
I used to love mine - not easy getting decent tyres in a 160/60-18 these days though I'd guess!

Help! Just Hit My Car Against Kerb...
Good old Andy - £60 sounds much better that £500! Whifbitz are in Enfield - EN2 9DS. I'd go to a Zed specilaist over them but if they can't fit you in soon or they're too far, Whifbitz should see you right. No idea about the wheels I'm afraid. Standard 300ZX wheels are two a penny (well £100-£150 for a good set with good tyres) so if you're stuck they might be a temporary fix - and you can always sell them on when you don't need them any more. Again I bet Andy could help with these or even another set of 18" wheels you could stick your existing tyres on as a last resort. Edit - some wheel specialists can straighten a buckled alloy - it depends how bad the damage is.

He chatted loudly and enthusiastically to everyone, then seemed to get suddenly very tired. He fell into a deep, deep sleep until he was woken by his mobile phone. When the caller asked where he was, he bellowed: 'I think I'm in Dublin'. "Alas, he was still in Heathrow." >> Celebrity stupids It's Asda price for Iman A fashion stylist was working for David Bowie and Iman. The supermodel gave him a list of designers she wanted called in - Armani, Gucci, Jean Paul Gauliter and George Adasda. "George Adasda?" the stylist replied? She said yes, he's a very hot English designer, everyone was talking about him. Suddenly the stylist twigged... George at Asda. >> The high life Wake me up before you turn go go Gamma Butyrolactone (GBL), closely related to GHB, is increasingly the drug of choice for London's narcotic connoisseurs. It produces a short, intense rush, heightens sexual pleasure and is metabolised very quickly - so almost impossible for, say, police to detect. GBL does have one major side-effect. It induces a deep, unrousable sleep which can come on quite unexpectedly. Like, perhaps, when you're a super-famous pop star driving home from a night's cruising and the traffic lights in front suddenly turn green...

Help! Just Hit My Car Against Kerb...
Whifbitz do everything: importing cars, supplying parts, servicing, tuning, repairs. They would probably know specialist breakers who could supply the parts - I don't know them well, you'd have to ask them though. They're more famous for Mk IV Supras and to a lesser extent RX7s and Skylines. If a 300ZX specialist (like Zen or Z-Tech or Zed World) isn't feasible for whatever reason, I'd say they're much much better than a random garage who don't know much about 300ZXs / imports. AndyZ - an official trader on here - has a business called Super Car Parts (http://www.supercarparts.co.uk) . I think he breaks quite a few 300ZXs and could probably supply the parts for a good price. Several other people on here have broken cars in the past - if you search around you might find them.

http://www.whifbitz.co.uk Not a 300ZX expert or one of our traders but I'd trust them over a regular garage. And near you?

Help! Just Hit My Car Against Kerb...
It's hard to say how much cheaper they will be. You'd have to ask them and it's hard for them to say until they see the car. They probably have access to 'broken' Zeds so can sell you the parts for less.

Save J-Tuner petition
Mind you this decision will have been made by a fairly high up publisher at Future Publishing based on the magazines performance since it was launched. I'd be very, very suprised if they change their mind based on a petition.
