  1. I can make you up a battery from some old fishing weights and a tupperware box if you want. Call it a round £20. :duffer:
  2. CBR600F is group 14 If you go for a Suzuki SV650S it's group 10. Carole Nash and Footman James are typically the best but it's always a case of phoning round loads...ZZZZZZ The CBR's quite a racy riding position - if you mainly ride in town something more upright would be better. Honda's CB600 Hornet, Yamaha FZS600 Fazer, Suzuki GSF600 Bandit, Suzuki SV650 are all exellent upright bikes and group 9-12 for insurance. It depends if you're buying for the looks though.

There might be a spare one you can pick up on the day - I don't know. Send Rich (Chunk) a PM and you might be lucky. You can always park in the 'regular' area while you track it down on the day.
  4. I have to admit I just had my first look at Fairladyzgirl's website. Sheeeerrrrwing - if she was an American president, she'd be Baberham Lincoln!
  5. Virtaully any Ducati would make a terrible first bike. CBR600s can be great but there's two different sorts - the F which is nice and the RR which is a bit too much for a first bike. The GPz500s a great first bike - facelifted in 1994. But as Steve says, they can carb ice. It's only something that happens when the temp is between about 1 and 4 degrees and the air is moist so it's not an every day problem. Some may have a heating system to prevent it which takes coolant to the carbs - these have a filter which often blocks. If you clean the filter they shouldn't carb ice any more.
  6. Steve A lot come down to money. 600/650 single cylinder trail-style bikes are great in town, easy to ride, cheap to run and fun. 500cc twins (cb500, er5)are decent all round first bikes. 600/650cc twins/fours (hornet, fazer, SV etc) are even better, faster and ok for a novice as long as they're confident and have the money.
  7. The stock ones are aluminium I guess. Surely this can be polished to a mirror finish? It's not quick but professional places can do it with a big mop or something. I've seen it done with motorbike frames. Just a thought - chroming may be easier and better.
  8. To be honest me and Mrs CD were thinking of getting the kitchen floor done in that laminate wood stuff. We're about to sell the house and the lino in there's quite scruffy. Are the more expensive wood floors ok? We're looking at about £600 for a small-medium sized kitchen which didn't sound that cheap to me. Maybe it'd be just as well to get new lino put down instead?
  9. The basin is actually quite hard to miss. It's the toilet that can be a bit of a tricky target. My wife suggested I sit down to pee as that would solve the problem. So I burned the soles of her feet with a hot crack pipe.
  10. This lad I usde to know called Donkey Di could put the end of his in an ashtray on the pub table when he was sitting down in a seat. He was a bit of a legend in Abbergavenny.
  11. >> What a w4nker Craig Charles beats the M6 boredom Craig Charles didn't just smoke 60 rocks of crack on his drive to Manchester. According to a source at the Mirror, when Craig wasn't on the crack pipe he was "masturbating furiously" in the back seat. source - popbitch.com I can't believe no-one else gets Popbitch's weekly email. That Craig Charles is a hero - I'd buy him a pint! Obviously I'd hope he'd washed his hands first.
  12. Go on the Santa Pod site (if that's where your going) and read their explanation of how the lights work - otherwise they can be a bit baffling.
  13. Lol - don't worry - I swore I'd never turn into one of the 'jump down peoples throats to make them join' lot. :duffer:
  14. Cheers lads (and lasses!) :duffer: :dufer: Have a great day Paul :duffer:
  15. I've used regular unleaded but it works out more expensive. I get more MPG on super / Optimax which more than makes up for the price difference.
  16. Are they....(shocked voice).... Australians?
  17. I think the S15 Spec R has a SR20DET engine producing 250bhp.

I thought you lived in a draw next to my wife's bed. I never understood what she meant by that - maybe I am confused?
  19. Perhaps something that could work with one of those Tom Tom things? Could be a winner!
  20. Will these so called 'computer languages' tell me the nearest place I can get my cock sucked for a tenner? No? Then I'm not interested then!
  21. Welcome Porkpie - do you two share the Zed then?
  22. Probably yes. 360 posts over 4 years and not payed up? :nono:
  23. Wow, a big victory for the S15. I thought most people would go for the 350Z - faster and better looking (IMO) in standard trim. I guess the S15 is rarer and easier to tune.
  24. I had a dream that seven thin cows came up out of the river Jordan and ate all the mods. Then me and StellaZ bossed the forum in technicolour dream coats.
  25. If you had the money (I haven't!) and were buying, which would you go for? The Nissan 350Z or the 200SX S15 Sylvia Spec R
