I think the NA diff lowers it's gearing compared to the TT. Could be wrong though.

PMSL! My mate turned up in his yellow MX5 the other day and my mother in law told his it was 'such a cute little car' and he went very red! He's a big violent looking bloke as well. 20psi in the tyres for standing quarters I'd leave them standard if they time top speed on the same run though - you don't want to be doing mega speeds with under inflated tyres. A burn out helps warm them before hand which'll make a difference too.

Craig David (Tim) here again. I'm out of the hospital now. They said I was going to have a general but due to a rush in other more serious cases, they did me with local anaesthetic. I was having an infected sebaceous cist cut off my back. I have to say that fukking hurt, even with local anaesthetic. I've missed work today and have to go back to have the wound 're packed' on thursday so if you chaps who've volunteered are ok to take over my place on the JTuner day, that would be great for me. Hi chaps This is Mrs Craig David Unfortunately Craig is in hospital today - he's got to have an operation under general anaesthetic tonight. It's nothing too serious but it means that he'll have to spend a few days catching up on work so he won't be able to take Thursday off to go to Bruntingthorpe. A mate is going to NZ soon. It cost £1000 odd for the form to apply. As he's a school teacher they accepted him and he's selling his house and it's all happening soon. I'm seeing him tomorrow and I'll ask him about it. He thinks he'll be able to buy a house cheap and everything will be brilliant over there. To be honest I think they have the same sh1t over there that we do here.

Dave - that is one seriously kind offer. You are a gent. :bow: There might be issues with getting them there / insurance too though. Plus, I'd also be a bit nervous thrashing someone else car about - if I'm going to crash / blow up anything I'd rather it was my own! I'd be happier in my own to be honest. Also I know it's not the fastest (ok, it about the slowest variant of the 300 there is) but it would show what a genuine 99 car is like. I've got my fingers crossed for you anyway though. :dance: There's also a slight possibility I might have to drop out due to an increase in work. I wouldn't do it unless someone can replace me - wouldn't want to let anyone down - and hopefully I'll be able to make it.

Bizarrely I think aftermarket HIDs could be illegal too as any car with HIDs should also have a built in headlight washer. I don't think it'd be a problem - I'd happily fit higher wattage bulbs or HIDs if I was less lazy / tight.

I've been looking at it lots myself - almost tempted to have a bid myself! But I promise I won't, especially as Dave is interested. Besides, I bet it wouln't be a very good daily drive. Plus I bet the insurance isn't cheap. And it probably won't do 30+mpg on a motorway run. And the wife would kill me. And then herself if she drove it in the wet!

Fcuking hell mate - what did you use to cut them? A brick? Only joking - looks like good progress there. Must be great to be doing it yourself too. Tyre pressures and scren wash are about as much as I do. :bow:

On the other thread it looks like there's only eight places and they're already taken. I don't know if there's any flexibility on that. I'm very happy to drop out if Mac or someone with a big power car wants to go along and show them what the Zed can do. My standard NA, auto, LWB, targa isn't going to set any records and I always look like a nonce in photos LOL.
