Where are you collecting the shell from?

I have the two parts that are the same as my rear bumper, you paint them and bond them onto your original one, very easy.

Van was about £50 as was the trailer, they also do 1/2 day hire.

It was from a private seller so got a bargain! I have a rear for a SWB if that's what you have.

Got front and rear for £100-120 if I remember rightly, was over a year ago.

Knew it wouldn't ;) Like I said I'm not sure on the front bumper, will decided when it's out of the garage so can stand back at look at the whole thing rather than be stood on top of it.

As I can't do any of the engine work until I get some more parts and I am rest after being ill the car got a wash on the weekend and took some pictures. Coming together nicely, the only thing I am not totally sure on is the front bumper but can't afford another so unless anyone wants a swap for a different aftermarket one ;) It is only mocked up and not bolted on properley and needs a final flat and polish.

Hi mate, When I picked up mine there are two trailer places, one on Penarth Road and the other on Cowbridge Road East, both in yellow pages. For a vehicle, Pontlclun van hire for car/van or Barry Van hire, I have used both and there are also in yellow pages.

After 6 days as an inmate I finally got let out :dance: With an order to get some rest and a bag full of tablets I'm feeling alot better, thanks for all the messages guys. The other good news is I have a note that 3 parcels have to be collected from the post office and I think they are all parts for the car :D

Well as I'm stuck in hospital the Z progress stopped, made a little headway before coming in but only the one pic off my phone at the moment. I am pleased with the way it's taking shape and wanted to be at Japfest with it but due to losing the time I have it will be doubtful unless it comes on a trailer :mad:

Hope your better, I keep promising myself to slow down. I'm sure I will when I get out of hospital, well for a few days anyway! So gutted I'm still in here, but at least I now have internet.

Thanks for the messages guys and to Tubz for mobile broadband so with the laptop I'm partly amused :dance: Feeling much better and finally allowed to eat yesterday and all was well even the temp was down to normal from 39+ so was all set to get home today..... to be told I have to stay until Thursday at the earliest due to the iv's I'm on and have a scan to give the all clear, gutted :cry:

I used this guide for mine, it is still tricky but possible. TBH after I did it I needed to change my loom from the fuse box and got one from a manual, I wish I had done this in the first place as it was quicker and was just plug and play. The old loom came out easy and the new one wasn't that hard and you do have it on your manual car, much neater. Also see which engine loom is better as again the manual has less on it so woud be worth swapping while the engine is out as it is much easier. If you want to lose the aircon do at the same time. Also consider some of these removals to tidy things up, all done on mine so have about a 1/4 of the vac lines and wire in the engine bay I used to. As legrath says, wanted to take one to the paint shop but needed a van as to big. Have to get it sprayed while still on the car now.

Not been around for a few days due to being admitted to hospital. Feeling much better today after the drugs have started working but now the bordam has kicked in! At least now I have the phone I can read the forum to help pass the time. At least this time it appears not to be serious unlike last time. And I had so many jobs to get done on the Z this week

Best post this in help and advice, also do you want standard ones or uprated? BTW thanks for the help the other day
