It is always slow, I've tried to get a few meets going and maybe one or two people reply. It does get frustrating, the tri area meet is confirmed in September so this month then. How about 22nd?

Water temp
There is a post in z related on the mot. The rads arenet't amazing but there haven't been any leaks, when the fan goes on it stops the temp going up any more but doesn't make it go down so think a second one is needed on the 2nd rad.

The viscous fan is gone, that's why I thought maybe a small electric one running on constant and then another wired the oe fan plug so it comes on when it gets to hot?

Bleed clutch - myself this time as garage crap
I did the bottom one first then the top and then both again. Mine was really stiff at first so rocked the car in gear with engine of as I think it had binded. Pumped the clutch again and the started the car, went straight into gear!

It's more to do with the fact I run 2 smaller rads because of the single turbo conversion and both the oem fans have gone. It's the first run it's had so need to tweak things a little I think.

Anyone know the correct running water temperature for TT, the oe gauge is about half but the aftermarket gauge is around 85-90 degrees. I'm trying to work out if the rads I have are big enough or I need to rig up one of the fans to run off an ignition fed live so it runs as soon as the engine is started.

Single turbo update 30/7
Well what an eventful day to say the least! I have finally worked out how arrange the wood sleepers to get the car off the drive without scraping. So drove to the MOT station but 200m away they have a tempoary ramp to cover some water lines so I slowed right down to go over it but the front scraped. I stopped, then realised the car had stalled, tried to restart but the battery was dead :headvswal Called the garage who I know really well, 2 minutes later he turned up with a booster pack and started the car and got it over the ramp, took the pack off and engine died, no battery warning lights. So with the bonnet up and booster pack on I drove the car the last 200m at 10mph peeking through the gap to see where I was going. Quick test confirmed no charge going to the battery, got the car up on the ramp to look, quick call to jimmer and Zed World- revealed a slight wiring error! Considering I have changed the efi, fuse box and gearbox looms this was my 1st cock up, I missed two of the wires off the back of the alternator. I had a choice, find them, fix and no MOT test or test on a spare battery- took the MOT test! The result, a fail but fully expected that. Points- Number plate Driver side seat belt recoil O/S headlamp not working- it was bad connection. N/S and O/S top suspension arm bush worn That's it, really happy with that :hyper: So left the car there and back down tomorrow morning to sort alternator wiring so I can drive it home and fix the other bits. Will take it back next Friday with fixed bits and get a ticket and then tax!!:hyper::hyper: Ok so still can't hammer it as need to fit another cooling fan and the EBC, then get it set up but at least I can get some miles on it.

Single turbo update 30/7
Well I think I have gone as far as I can with the conversion, I need to either get the car on some roller to simulate driving and see how it performs and get it set up. Not sure when I can get that done so went for plan B- Car is off for a MOT today, thought at least I can drive her down and see what happens, not expecting a pass in a million years but at least it gets a run and I can see what jobs I need to add to the list. Will post some pics up later!!!

I had old petrol in mine, I didn't have much so just put 10 litres in to dilute the older stuff

How much fuel have you got in it? The hose coming out of the filter is the one to take off, I think if you crank it then it will pump the fuel out.
