We picked up our dog laqst night after she had the op on Wednesday, completely shaved up to the top of her thigh and all completely bandaged up. They kept her in overnight on Wednesday, the op went well but is very painful for them. She spent most of last night and this morning so far crying despite being given pain killers. We are keeping her static but obviously she hobbles about to go to the garden for a pee break but she doesn't know what to do with herself as she is in pain and doesn't stop crying. The other 2 dogs don't quite understand and won't settle either. Thank god for pet insurance, the bill was £750 !!!

The house we want is in Newport, don't suppose your selling a 4 bed semi? :)

We have been trying to sell the house for ages and two weeks ago we had a couple that viewed three times and decided it was their 'dream house' We have been chasing the estate agent and found that they were waiting on news from the bank last Friday, again we waited and I chased yesterday. I was told the couple were trying to do the finance themselves but it wasn't moving along quickly so the agent arranged for them to come in today as the financial adviser had spoken with them and they were proceedable. Agent called again to say they are proceedable and when they come in to confirm money they will make an offer. Just got a call to say they cancelled as the wife has lost her job today :headvswal I feel very sorry for them but why can't we just have some luck, it p*sses me off and is so frustrating as we have seen our 'dream house' to :rant:

I'm going to do a tempoary paint job on the new nose panel and front bumper as I can't justify the full paint job until all the running issues are done. Fit a new thermostst to see if it stops running so hot. Disable the EBC as it is faulty and see how the single tub boosts with the external wastgate in charge!

There was a guy down that way called Nassa Performance who did some work on Nissans

Starter needs alot of +VE to turn and the alternator to feed charge back into the battery. I remember the earth on the gearbox as my car would run and it turned out it was loose. If you have any other problems let me know, I had about 6 205's including a CTI, Supercharged Mi16 Dimma (done myself) and a 309 MI16 coversion. So spent about 4 years working on them.

Our lab had an xray yeserday to confirm that she has ruptured this ligament to, she is going in on Wednesday for the op to fix it. Vet has said days leading up to it keep her quiet and once the op is done no walks for 2 weeks, then only a 5 minute walk a day for a week , then 10 minutes for another week etc. We also have to half here food until she is exercising again and put vegetables in here food (peas and carrots?) I will let you know how it goes.

We seem to have Tatsu who have most meets in Bristol and they have a few 300's there or SW-CC but aren't just Jap cars! Not sure if Scooby/EVO or Skyline have SW region or would even welcome us!!

One of the +ive go to the alternator and starter motor. The is a - ive to the gearbox at the back.

Hate to tell you guys but I remember the guy and the car, he came down with the car to buy some hoses for it...... and it's not as good in the flesh and sounds a bit pants for a V8!

Temp sensors ok, I have aftermarket gauge. Switched on the pump and 2nd fan and the temp isn't going down so thought the rads may not be big enough between them. Anyway I have ordered a new thermostat as it's a cheaper option to try 1st before a alloy rad!!!!

Fitted the pump but still to warm, think I may need an alloy rad!

When I bleed mine i couldn't get any gear even though no more air was coming out. So I put it in 1st and just rocked the car back and forth, I've done this in past on Peugeots when the clutch plate was stuck after the car had been stood for some time. Once I did that the car went into gear and has been fine.

Have you rocked in gear to see if the clutch plate is binded?

That's why I converted my TT to a big single one, as far as I know it's the only one in the country.

One rad is 22 x 40cm and the other 30 x 45 cm, fans are 1200 cfm each.

I am a little concerned the two smaller rads on the car won't keep it cool enough, bothe have electric fans on. One is controlled by a manual switch and the other by the old electric fan switch so cuts in when very hot. I was thinking of fitting an electric pump I have into the cooling system to get the water flowing better and helping out the OE pump as the water system is bigger now. Any thoughts?

Glad, you can get off the drive as I've just seen this thread and I can't get off my drive as the skirts ground!!!

It all about being different, my set up was a bit of a crazy idea. I just wanted something unique and now it's got a MOT I can get some miles on it and iron the last few issues I have before it gets any abuse on the road. They only thing I would say is if you are going to something unusual go the whole hog and not hold back, that's what I've done!
