  1. I was in the position as jimmer yesterday, my session followed his, echoe his comments 100 pecent except he found my 90bhp
  2. Lag isn't as bad as you would think, turbo comes in around 3500rpm and holds to 6300 nicely, you'll see it better on the graph tomorrow
  3. I will post the graph tomorrow when I can scan the gaph in so keep guessing!
  4. Made the trek up to john dixon's today to have the q45 maf fitted and a set up done. So a few hours on the dyno and john's magic touch later.... Found the position of the external wastegate is wrong and needs to be changed so the ebc can't be plumbed in as it pobably won't contol the boost properly. Also there's not enough fuel top end and until the boost is controlled it can't be set just yet. But once that is done john should get about 50 more horses loose. So who wants to guess at todays best figure? When the car came in the first run was 360bhp at the wheels, after several runs John got the power up rather well. Below is a graph of one of the average power firgure runs although the best one was ..... 450.7 bhp at the wheels!!!! That makes it a 500bhp at the fly engine!!! With some slight tweaks we should get 500 at the wheels next time!!!!
  5. Very helpful, just setting up an EBC now and making sure it works and doesn't overboost with the external wastegate. The car is on the dyno with JD on Saturday so we'll see what we get from... Wiseco pistons Eagle Rods Cometic Head Gaskets 740cc Injectors S/S manifolds 3in downpipe 38mm wastegate And the T78 Turbo!
  6. That'll be Tubz as he is back from his world tour and Zeding again.
  7. Front bumper similar to yours and then eventually whole car at the end of the summer.
  8. Ah, so are you the man to see about cheaper rate painting??
  9. Who are you using, I need mine done?
  10. Anyone help, need to get it in by Friday.

  14. Anyone have a diagram or instructions of how to plumb in an EBC with an external wastegate and a single turbo. The wastegate has top and side ports and I'm not sure how to do it, want it ready before I go to John D's this weekend.

You getting to Coombe for 7am then?
  21. Yes fully insured but has been a nightmare to get them to pay out, think we have finally got them to agree to it all at last.

So shall we have a convoy to the show?!!!!
  23. Welcome guys!
  24. Back on line sort of! So as it stands we have had 3-4 weeks of arguing with the insurance about their liability, everytime we shoot down their reason not to payout they try another. Last Friday we finally struck a deal and work is now begining but we have been living (and still are) with no gas, heating or hot water. We have 1 electric shower, 2 cold taps, toilet and some elctric heaters. We could have gone into a hotel but it means putting the dogs in kennels for the whole time and the house empty with all our stuff in which we don't fancy. Thanks for the messages of support and will hopefully see a lot of you at Japfest! I'll keep you updated on progress.
  25. Not a happy man and the wifes devastated :censored::censored::censored::rant::rant: We exchanged contracts on a repo property that's been empty for a year and completed today. My parents went to check it out yesterday to find some f@@king thieving p@ss taking little w@@@@r of a scum sucking scrote has broken in this week and stolen all the copper pipes for the heating, water and some gas, it seems a few places in a 5 miles radius we targeted. They have made a right mess doing it to and have damaged the boiler, walls, doors and a ceilng! Tomorrow we become homeless as the new people move in and we are going to a place that now has no mains water, gas or central heating. Tricky to find somewhere and move the same day for me the wife, my son and three dogs. Angry is an understatement!!!!!
