  1. Due to this and the time delay http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=142246 the buyer for the car has vanished and not returning calls or emails, raised an unpaid item dispute. Annoying as there was another guy interested but by the time the buyer decided to vanish he has bought something else. So now I have to try and sell the car again now :cursing: Only consulation is I get to drive it for a little while longer :tt2:

I bought some bits of him last year I think, had a few issues to, had to raise a paypal claim before getting goods. Not sure if I have a number, if I do it's in my pm inbox but as my subs have run out can't check:sad:
  4. Is true, for my EVO and Volvo they were the cheapest!
  5. What a saga to get an MOT! Took it to the garage last Wednesday for the MOT, called the garage to see how we got on to be told they had to take it to another mot station as it is to low for their ramp and had to go over a pit, called back later to find it failed on some bulbs, handbrake and lower front n/s 'wishbone' Established they meant the bottom arm so got one from baz for Friday, worked my arse off Friday afternoon as finish at 1pm to get it done for a retest, 4.15pm all done and heading back to test, get a call from the garage to say MOT people closed early for bank holiday weekend so wll have to be next week! Dropped it of following Wednesday for retest, called in the afternoon to be told it's passed :phone: but they ran out of petrol and the car was splutterng a bt so the wife will call in to pck up the keys so we can collect it later that evening. Get a call at 5.30 from the wife to say actually the car has failed, they changed their minds as 'I' have changed the wrong part :cursing: So went to collect the car around 8, car ran really badly and was missing and stalling, got 100m down the road before givng up and calling the rac, they came out and couldn't fix it so got recovered home and got in at 12.30. Thursday morning called the MOT to establish they meant the upper tie link arm :clown: so got one from Baz to delivered Friday also faxed the garage the notes about the play these things have but they didn't care or worry they made me change the wrong part. Got home to see what the running issue was, turned out they had managed to blow off a boost hose, put that back on but still running badly so also dried the plugs out. Friday the arm arrives so head home to get it changed and head for a retest, guy at the garage is an ar@e asks if I faxed the papers and was I telling him how to do his job! He does the retest and moans that the arm wasn't new but passes it. Finally get home and go through every connectors and hose clip there is and restart the car, running sweet as a nut so there must have been something lose, car now taxed and on the road but won't be using the idiot at that MOT station again and to boot the delay may have lost me a sale on the car :cursing::rant::rant:
  6. Hi All Sorry to interupt your evenings posting but i was wondering if anyone could help. Oh ,hi by the way - its anthony's wife email as he s stuck with the car waiting for the RAC to rescue him, looking very dispondant and upset - hence this is from me. Basically, his car failed the 1st mot and one of the things was the lower wishbone which he worked hs behind off to sort. Took it back for testing today and earlier this afternoon they passed the car and then a few hours later (not telling him ) failed it! i had to deilver the news as i was en-route to collect. It turns out that the detail the put on the MONT cert was wrong and it was in fact the upper arm with the bearing in, at the bottom of the suspension strut (what ever that is) which needs changing. Yes, he is pretty mad and i am pretty upset too as i can see how annoyed he is. Besides that they have done something to the car so it wont go now., He wanted to get home straight away and source this part he needs but wont be home for ages now, so i thought i would try and help.... So please can i ask all you great members to see if you have the part that he needs, or if you can pass this message on, spread the word ,it would mean the world to me if we could help him out. If you have what he needs, i guess you would either 'PM' him (i think thats the term) or you can call him on his mobile - i dont know if i can post his number so guess you are better 'PM-ing him' Any way, I am off to take him a jumper and some chips now to try cheer him up. Thanks All. Kerry x
