He saw us as we were heading back to the cars after having a drink (not beer!) and said you couldn't make it. I think with the right weather it would be a decent get together. Will post pics tonight.

  7. Found some spare time this weekend to start fitting some more bits to the car, will post some pics soon but fitting Oil temp gauge (if I find some where to screw the sensor in) 2nd oil change after the rebuild so might as well fit the accusump at last EWP electric water pump and controller to try to get her to run cooler!

  10. Anyone know how many litres per minute it shifts?
  11. It looks like the insurance will offer an 85% payout on the house and I had a letter yesterday to tell me a 15 year savings plan matures in June which means I can keep the car :clap::clap: To say I'm relieved is an understatement especially since I cracked the 500bhp mark, so just need to convince the wife to let me spend some of the money on the car to iron out a few problems. So hopefully an electric water pump, big alloy rad and new fan to sort cooling out and some suspension work.
  12. Not sure which ones are the arb bushes??
  13. Great, let me know when I need to come over to them, I can do a Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.
  14. Cool, I'll take you for a spin with the 500 horses!!
  15. The rear suspension on the car has started to squeak going over bumps, car is lowered 50mm with adjustable camber arms, is it time for new shocks?
  16. Very nice, any news on whether he can do my bumper? And since a lot of the Welsh members will look at this ..What about a meet??? Are we going to start with one at CardiffGate Toby on the 1st Monday of the month as previously mentioned?
  17. Nice work, apart from the clutch of course!
  18. What did you get on the rollers with John? He said you'd been up there as I heard your car was a little low :nelson:
  19. What power you running now as you flew round coombe the other weekend?
  20. I take it these will be ok for mine John?
  21. These any good? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-Fairlady-TUNED-NGK-Iridium-Spark-Plugs-x6-/290436547234?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item439f5e02a2
  22. It Bailey Performance, mine was in after Jimmers. Talking to them 530 isn't the max as he thinks mine could make 550 next time and didn't say it was a problem.
  23. It's quite as bad as you think, boost starts around 3300 but keeps building quickly after that and if I remember rightly after 5k your looking at 400bhp. TBH it does mean I can cruise around without using the turbo if I want and then drop a gear and nail it when I want the power, the delivery is nice. Maybe ounce the wastegate is sorted and the ebc fitted it will change a little. I did it to be different and a enjoyed the challenge of getting it to work and the other advantage, the turbo was a T78 from Ebay in the US which was very cheap and the other, no engine out for a turbo change or upgrade!!:tt2:
