  1. Only just seen this post, sadley not much time to come on the forum at the moment! Cheers guys Andy
  2. 4 times a weeks, been at it for nearly 10 years now! The selection of gym can help, I've trained in loads of 'spit a sawdust' gyms over the years with little to look at apart from oversized men. Not good! The gym I use now is more of a fitness sweet with excellent machines. All the cardio equipment has built in TV's with tons of channels to chose from. Just need to plug your headpnones into the machine. more of a mixed ratio aswell! You are right about the barrier though, usually after 12 mins of hard cardio the pain seems to lessen and i get into it more! Andy
  3. Any chance you could post to Canada bud, if so can you give me a price. Just came back out from the UK recently. I will still have both but if anyone really wants one I'll give one up Cheers Andy
  4. Not missed a RTTS (run to the sun) since I can remember, Hopefully I'll be back for it this year. There are plenty of camp sites you want to keep away from, especially if your in the Z! (full of northern Monkeys :x: :x: ) The last few years since I've matured :nelson: I've stayed at a very good site. Cant remember the name off my head though:headvswal :headvswal Andy
  5. Not lacking in CC's then!!!  Wonder how many gallons to the mile it does? Got to love the cobra though, One day I'll build one. Andy
  6. Thats good news, i'll be poping down to nissan in the morning. I'll be gutted if I have to buy the unit from the UK. I only payed £50 for mine in the US. Andy
  7. Well its great to be back in the UK and Zeding again, however I knew I had to do the Matrix whilst i'm back as when I left in the summer the interior was getting flooded with coolant. Just got the matrix out, only took 2.5 hours, far quicker than the last time when i removed the dash! Anway just done a pressure test and its not the Matrix but the valve on the side thats gone. As I bought my matrix in the states the shaft on the valve is round the wrong way. Has anyone switched the shaft before and had no leaks? Also can you just buy the valve from nissan UK? Thanks Andy
  8. Snow! cant wait to get away from it! Been on the ground here for 3 months solid now in Canada. Great fun but gets a bit tiring when you have to commute in it every day! I've just bought a Skyline GTS-4 (4x4) which coupled with snow tyres should be great fun for the winter :) Snow wont be gone until april FFS. Cant wait to get back to the UK tomorrow and drive the Z, so there better not be any fooking snow!! Andy
  9. Nice pics there Si, really shows off that 3 stage pearl! Those rear lights look the business, I've not seen them on a pearl white Z before. I'll be ordering mine pretty soon!! Andy
  10. Engine is looking good, cant wait to see the finished article. Andy
  11. Put me down for 2 copies of the first option please. need one hanging in work aswell ;) Andy
  12. I forget now, paid 8k and spent about a further 4K I think? still got a whole load more to spend. should get all the recipts out one day and have a look, probably more than I think. Worth every penny! Shame I aint seen it for six months now, Cant wait to get back to the UK and drive the beast :hyper:
  13. Forcast here in Canada tonight is -25. Wish I had my Z here to appreciate it. Will be down to -40 in Jan. Sadley too much snow about then to even contemplate driving a Z. Luckily the summers are long hitting 30 most days, will have to get my chilled water spray fitted by then ;) Andy
  14. If you can get under the car just whip off the plastic undertray and you should be able to see the adjustment screw. You have to undo a locking screw first but its only a 10 min job. Dont over tighten, I think you should have about 10mm play on the longest section, but do a search and check that first. Andy
  15. Welcome to the club dude, You should find this forum a great place for knowlege for the 300zx. Lots of banter also flying around, all friendly and good fun though ;) Hope you loads of joy out of your new Z. Check out the FAQ section for the basic and importants stuff. Andy
  16. If i remember correctly mine cost me about 160 pound, but that was 5 years ago. If your going to change them yourself you will need a special tool for the job. Some suggest a crows foot wrench. You cant use a socket as there are wires coming out the top of the unit. I used a long series socket but milled a slot in one side, did the job perfect. Andy
  17. This thread has just remined me that mine is still fooked. Back in the UK soon so will have to do that the first day back, will be the second time i've done it now FFS  . You can still drive the car if it fails by linking the flow and return pipes but if you dont notice the leak then you could cook the engine which is never nice. It is a big job with millions of things to remove to get at the fooker, dash board out if its your first time. Can be done with the dash in but you have to know where all those little 'blind' screws are! even worse if you have a manual as you have to remove the clutch pedal which is no fun at all. Andy
  18. Could be the O2 sensors playing up. Had this with my car a while back. Black soot everywhere. A diagnositic will clarify this. New O2 sensors and a massive inprovement. Pipes still soot up after a few days but as already mentioned its inevitable with turbo cars. Andy
  19. I bet you have bought him a toy Z already;) Congratulations Andy
  20. Nice one mate. Its a great relief once you get that job offer. :D And a month to go surfing every day, sounds like a real hardship. Not jealous at all  Enjoy, Speaking of surfing, I bet you got one of these! everyone who has been to Bali must have one ;) Andy
  21. Command start is sweet, comes standard with most alarms out here in Canada, gets so bloody cold in the winter!! There very cheap over here, not sure if they meet CAT 1 but might be worth scaning the net. Andy
  22. not exactly a proper fix but as long as the wires were joined back to the correct feed then they should still work. Deffo worth getting some parallel connectors and joining the wires properly.;) If your O2 sensors are not connected you will probably be suffering with very sh1t MPG, You can do a self diagnostic or take it to an MOT centre and get an emmissions test done to check the sensors. (edit, just re read your post, the sensors after the cat are not the O2 sensors, well mine are in the manifold not sure about the later models??) Andy
