o2 sensor and crows foot socket
I bought a long series 22mm socket and milled a slott 3/4 down the length of one side, deep enough to pull the wires through. Far easier to use than a crows foot. If you dont have access to a milling machine an angle grinder can have the same effect. Far cheaper!! Kind of like this Andy

had a race with a e30 325 motorsport

Are you stuck in safety boost? Your stock boost gauge will only reach 2/3rd of full scale if so. If boosting properly you should see a full scale reading, mind you most of the aging gauges are crap anyway!! A decent gauge is a fine investment. You should be able to outrun a 325i with ease, a stock Z should even out do an M3 in a drag race, would be close though.

*Warning* - Don't buy anything from user 'gixxar'
That is the shits Si. Bottom line here is that someone has sold you something far from what was advertised, irrespective of wether it's a good price or not! In hindsight, yes you should have checked it but thats not the point, we all put a bit too much trust in people sometimes!! Hopefully you can get this resolved. I know what I would do but thats highly illegal :D Andy

the Z shut off on the highway!!!!!
So did you have it running again, not quite sure what your saying?? Could possibly be the PTU or a number of electrical problems. Do an engine diagnostic first, this can be done in the car. Do a search on the forum if your not sure how and see what, if any fault codes you get. Should be a list of codes here somewhere. Andy

Poly Bush Help Needed
I fitted Nismo bushes to my subframe. I removed the stock ones by cutting out the rubber center with a hole saw, then removed the outer casing by cutting down the length with a hack saw until it pealed in on itself.(dont saw too far, a small chisel may help) The casing will then just fall out. You can use a press but would need a special jig to prevent bending the subframe. The new bushes then slid in place fairly easy ;) Hope this helps Andy

feelin miserable
If only I had my Z. Not really driven it much at all in the last 2 years, Kind of depressing really  . Doesn't help me being in Canada all the time. She will be on the boat on her way out in June so cant wait to have the Z as a daily driver again. :hyper: :hyper:

Mongoose exhaust sound
I dont have a sound clip but my mongoose sounds sweet. A nice burble but not to intrusive. Nice and quite when motorway cruising.

please help nissan skyline
Thats a very nice looking Z you have there!! Far better looking than a GTR. Saying that, I still love the GTR and you should certainly take one out for a drive and see whatt you think. Very capable vehicles, the handling is amazing!! Andy

FAO Jeremy. You drawing is complete
Drawing complete bud. Something a bit different but not as much detail in the small images compared to a large drawing. Harder to get in all the detail, plus I kept it to the same time frame. Hope you like it. Actual size 9"x12" Regards Andy

Great Roads
My Favourite stretch was from Plymouth all the way down to Harlyn bay. I did that drive every weekend in the Z and especially loved the A38 to Truefoot, Loads of twisty hills with positive cambers, great when empty early in the morning, taken on and embarrised many a 600cc sports bikes. The most scenic road has to be the Icefield parkway in the rocky mountains. 100 miles of breathtaking scenery, if your out this way then make it a must. I'll be driving the Z along it this year, cant wait!!

Nearest and cheapest rocket fuel stations
Is shell V Power not out in the UK yet?? I know there was some talk about it last year rated at 99RON. Had it out here for a while now.

99 spec headlight inserts.
Hmmm, They look pretty good. Wonder if they hinder the already inadequate lights though?? could always put some Cibie oscars on the front

300zx market value....will go up
Hopefully they will appreciate but probably not for a long time, not until there are only a handful left at least. Sadly with rising fuel costs and taxes in the UK the big petrol burners are paying the price. Seems like genuine Saphire cossy’s have started to appreciate again now there are so few of them, also a cult car. Different story over here but that’s due to the fact that domestic Z's are rare as fook and petrol is 30p a litre  . Because of the 15 year old age restrictions here imports have only just started arriving. I've noticed a drop in value since this happened but tidy Z's are still fetching about 8k. Shame it’s not that way in the UK, if the Imports had never come, Z’s would be worth more money (providing there was no rust) but then there would hardly be anyone on this forum, and that would suck! F.A.O. Mac1...Re: Miss Z 06
Well Gents, My advice to you would be go visit North America. The American and Canadian women will fall in love with that good old British accent strait away. I thought it was just stuff of the movies but me and a few friends had non stop attention, nothing like the bullshit chase in the UK, with so many beautiful women out here. Now I’m engaged to one and have no regrets. If you dont want to move then I'm sure they will follow you back, they all love Great Britain! Andy

She's home!
Bet it sounds lush, I had the same engine in my GMC Yukon last year. That sounded sweet on standard pipes so I reckon yours must sound awesome. Got to love that V8 burble and amazing torque curve  Andy

I've got a new car. :)
Good old GM's. The Missus bought a brand new Pontiac Sunfire last year which shares most of the mechanics of the astra. I drive it a fair bit and its not actually that bad for getting from point A to B. No real fun but its a nice drive!

Who uses there TT as a Daily Driver?
The winters are harsh but summers are to die for, +30 from May through till Oct, blue sky's everyday, not like the Uk where you may get some sun if your lucky!! It is a bit extreme but I dont mind it, lots to do like skiing and snow boarding, deffo want to get a snow machine for next winter though. The Skyline is nothing special, an R32 GTS-4, but great for the snow with 4x4 and winter tyres. Andy

Who uses there TT as a Daily Driver?
Hi John, Not in NS, I'm over in Manitoba but still working in the oil industry. I'm just flying over to Halifax to collect the Z. The ship arrives there from Southampton. I've had my Skyline shipped out already but that came across to Manitoba on the train. Much rather do the drive in the Z, just have to wait for all the snow to melt! Andy

Who uses there TT as a Daily Driver?
My Z will be landing in Halifax Canada in May and I'll be driving it 2500 miles across. I dont really have any concerns but I will be carrying a tool kit just incase! luckily I always carry a spare PTU and some electrical cleaner, the usual failure a Z can experience. Just make sure you know how to do a diagnostic on the ECU and give it a good service before you set off. 6000 miles across europe sounds wicked, I'll be driving mine right down the west coast of America next summer, should be an awesome drive! Andy

Who uses there TT as a Daily Driver?
I used the TT as a daily driver for quite a few years and it never let me down. There was a period where I bought a diesel escort to save the Z for weekends, soon scrubed that idea! I had a fantastic drive to work and the mighty diesel was just too boring!! Saved a bit of cash, but thats not the point in owning a Z!! When the Z arrives in canada i'll use it as a daily driver from May-Nov but not in the winter, too much snow about here then! Shell V power is only 35p a litre aswell   Andy

Zed body shop pics, loads of pics

Another ebay gem...
Think they would have at least made the effort to change the wheels. Someone must have put a lot of effort into it, but why?? Changing one hair dressing machine into another, :slap: Would have been cheaper to buy a smacked up BMW, probably look better aswell!

i'm geting old
I dont think i'm getting too old yet, but it does seem like a fooking long time ago I was 18 and out on the piss with the boys all the time and dreaming of owning a Z one day. Luckily I've managed to cram a sh1t load into my life in the last 10 years, got no plan of slowing down yet!
