  1. Seems to be a bit of a red thing going on. Wish I could have been there. I'll be back at X mas if anyone fancies a festive meet. Put a santa hat on those red Zeds, look quite the picture!! Andy
  2. If it’s just the antenna that is broken you can buy a replacement part. Far cheaper than replacing the whole electric aerial unit. I did mine a while back, bought the antenna from courtesy in Texas and cost peanuts. I did this a couple years ago so a rough guide from memory. ;) Very easy to replace. You first need to remove the surrounding interior in the boot. This is done by removing all the necessary screws. Then disconnect the power and aerial lead to the unit. These are in close proximity to the aerial body. Think you have to remove the exterior support, (at the top of the aerial inside the boot). There is a drain system designed to channel away any surplus water that is collected on the aerial, be careful removing this. Finally you can remove the securing screws which hold the unit in place. If your just going to replace the antenna then the unit comes apart fairly easy, couple af nuts I think. Just have to ensure the new antenna is located correctly and the chord is coiled up before you re assemble it. Hope that helps Andy
  3. Why oh why did they put the fuse box down there?? Saying that nothing on the Z is simple or strait forward!! Andy
  4. No messing about there then.;) Just dont put it up in place of your wedding photo! Glad you like it and that it got there fairly swiftly. Andy
  5. Glad you recieved it ok. Only 5 days, not bad. Will look best if you get it mounted then framed, should be able to buy a mount in any framing shop. Cheers Andy
  6. 1K can get swallowed up very quicky with a Z! If its in need of a service then that will be top priority, if you have no record of the last cambelt change then go for a 60K service. Not sure of the labour charges as I do the work myself. That may leave you enough to get your wheels refurbed. Exhaust and filter is always a nice mod aswell. First step towards uping the power. Andy
  7. Does anyone know of any good, reasonablly priced Shipping companies? Have to ship two cars from Southampton to me out in Canada. I've been quoted good prices for Ro-Ro ships but would rather put my Z in a double container with the other car. Andy
  8. Its ok, I've found it now. 2+2 is 178" SWB is 172.3" Cheers Andy
  9. Does anybody know the exact length of a stock JDM 2+2? I've found a length of 172.3 inches on the net but doesnt specify SWB or 2+2 Just in the process of renting a unit to store two cars but its going to be tight Andy
  10. you lot are making me home sick. I do miss cornwall!! Andy
  11. Have you got a day job? Just wondered as you seem to be getting loads done. ;) Andy
  12. looking good, things are certainly moving along for you. Well done! :) Andy
  13. Ok, lets say for example there is something you always wanted to do(like travel the world) but never got off your ass and did it, When your at the end of your days that would be a big regret! You only get one stab at life so live it! Andy
  14. My favourite expression is. You will always regret the things you never did, not what you have done' I try and do as much as I can within reason. A boring life is not for me!! Andy
  15. I've sent you an E mail bud. ;) Andy

Do you want me to get the earaser out and remove the spoiler off your drawing now? :p :D  Andy
  17. Still havent seen the 2nd film yet, must get round to it one day. Certainly spotted the Z though! ;)
  18. I personally think the UK should stay as it is. The main benifit would be industry sales. At the moment UK companies are strugling in a global market because the pound is so strong. If we joined the euro then our goods would be far more affordable to the rest of the world vastly increasing sales and taxes to the government. Hang on, we dont actully make anything in the Uk anymore. :x:
  19. Thanks. I've only just got back into it recently, mainly because I've got a more time on my hands. Actually got loads of time as i'm waiting on a work Visa out here in Canada at the moment, should be working in Two weeks fingers crossed. Must admit I am enjoying being a man of Leisure with the missus bringing in all the wedge :x: :x: Those bikes looks great, lots of detail;) Andy
  20. I'm English mate, just moved out to Canada to be with the missus. Got to love the place though. Kind of been bouncing between the two countries for the last year. I'm just waiting for my work visa to clear, hence I've got time on my hands to do drawings at the moment. Got a couple ideas in my head, I'll sketch something down tomorrow, try and keep it simple! Andy
  21. Good to see you back Leigh, time will fly and you will be like brand new again. You will soon be able to get back on with that awesome project! Just use your rest time to keep those excellent ideas flowing.;) Andy
  22. If you want a manwell then hold out till you find one. They are rarer and that is reflected in the price. Autos are fine if you like that kind of thing but worth uprating the oil cooler. I'm sure someone with an auto can shead more light for you. Andy
  23. Never really considered colours TBH. I think the plain pencils create a far more striking picture very different from a photo. I use 10 different shades of graphite to do these drawings. My dad is a professional artist who paints to comission. He can do you a cracking painting of anything. ;) Cheers Chris, Get your order in. I just need a photo. Probably going to start invading supra/GTR/GTO/Supra forums etc once I've drawn everyones Z's!! Probably become a trader soon but will be putting my prices up a bit though. :D
  24. I should start charging more for multispoke wheels!! right mission, saying that the softspoke ones you have were not easy! Cheers for remarks Andy
