  1. Where I would like to be is recognised and respected as a club Respect comes from both sides, members and mods alike. We ask them to appreciate our opinion and we should have the decency to do the sme without going on the attack. Still, I do feel just a little queasy about something right now
  2. garage all the way! Means I've had to buy two sheds to house all the crap that was in the garage but I know what I'd rather see when I open the garage door.. Zed..... Or a pile of gardening crap..... Toughie that one
  3. Ermm.......Water Boy?
  4. HAd the same prob round the rear end and shocks did not sort it completely. Turned out that the HICAS arms were worn. They are being changed now. Hopefully, that should cure it.

Its a way for me but as long as you can convince my wife that you`re not just a bunch of petrol heads I`ll be there. It will be goood to meet you all
  6. did an id test in 2nd year at uni. Got 158 and have not done a test since just in case....know what I`m saying?
  7. Spot on. my old tps was shonked and it did make the auto box change up at very high revs. New tps, problem sorted. Deffo worth a try
  8. I just came here to report the same thing! What is up? Macca? Any ideas?
  9. I`m not a miserable git or anything but I voted no :slap: In regards to Luke, he is one of the most outstandingly amiable and helpful people I haver ever met in my 30 years. No complaints there. Buy him many beers any time. However, he takes a choice not to use the forum as he could. He has often said that with one thing and another its a big no for him. So, let him run his business as he sees fit. If he wants to do a group buy let him say so, that`s all. Jeez, the discounts he gives already makes any buy seem like a group to me. If you are gonna help with anything Macca, I think your considerable talents could be better used in further development of the forum. You have already proven a great asset as a moderator (IMHO). That`s all......... sod! Sound like a prat don`t I? Better call Luke tomorrow and explain...... :slap: (again)
  10. Hey folks...sorry to part Hijack but does anyone know of a decent place somewhere near Telford to get this done?
  11. Yup to all but mine has never failed to lock the doors when they are closed but has never locked the doors when one is open. Thought that was pretty clever by the way.....
  12. Sorry but cannot agree here. Hicas improves predictability for me. My car was without it for a while due to a speedo problem and I found the loss of the rear end and subsequent recovery to be a good deal less predictable. Guess its all down to personal preference but I would not be without it. I`ve been a member of the advanced driving institute for over 10 years now and with all the RWD cars that I`ve owned I would say that the Zed with HICAS and traction control is by far the most easy to predict loss of and recover afterwards. Considering its mass, the Zed does recover very well with HICAS Just my two penneth but the best thing about all Zed drivers is that we are different from the teeming masses of Audi TT and MGF sorts. Try it with and without, its easy enough to disconnect the HICAS system. We are all very different drivers after all
  13. Damn right its good! :hyper: :hyper: Nissan did mine and charged £800 ish for the priviledge. Wouldn`t be so bad except that they changed the water pump at the same time and forgot to retighten the hoses correctly leading to an overheat! Luckily though, my heads are fine but yup! As long as a good job was done!
  14. See, some of us lucky guys happen to be married to Americans and thus don`t need to worry about these incidentals (smug mode) Steve and (American) Jen
  15. In my business, political correctness is everything Yet I recently lost a client because local social services were not willing to stand up to the daughter of that client in the face of a difficult issue. At our last review I was told that our ratio of white to ethnic minority staff was not within the local authority recommended limits. Yet a client we have recently lost would not accept our care services because we refused to replace a perfectly good minority carer with a white carer. Social services answer? Well Steve, its a difficult question isn`t it? Well, no it isn`t actually. If I as an employer discriminate against minorities in recruitment, I get taken to court. When I refuse to replace a minority carer with a white carer, I lose a contract, I can do nothing because the social worker "did not actually hear the client refuse the carer on the grounds of race" Do not talk to me about political correctness. It is bullsh*t. I did the best I could to support my employee according to the race relations act and my local authority took the care provision contract away from me rather than answer the questions the choice to support my employee might raise. Yet what do you think they may do if I refused to recruit an employee on the grounds of race? My company would be sued so fast my feet woudn`t touch. It is all hypocritical bullsh*t. BULLSH*T BULLSH*T!!!!!!! I am so *****ing mad words cannot express yet there is nothing I can do. I follow the the letter of the law and support my employee as regulation dictates and my company suffers because some pissant social worker does not have the courage to face the clients family and tell them that their mother has refused care provision by an ethnic minority carer and has therefore refused care provision. Instead, the contract has gone to a local competitior who has given knowledge to all concerned that the carer they will place with the client, through one source or another will be white. I am about as fuc*ed off as I am ever going to get. Sorry to hijack the thread here but this kind of sh*t is WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!!!! Sorry guys, all the best Steve

Forgiveness applied for.......I must have been misataken as to the position. I was just so appalled and remain at least a little appalled at myself for putting my foot down a bit. Jen and I do not have kids yet but even while she and our DOG are in the car I take things a damn site more sanely. Just couldn`t believe it that's all. Good point Stu but you get my point, yeah?

Them 350Z types are quick at normal speeds you know Had real trouble getting away from my first 350Z siting yesterday. Woman driver, baby seat in back with kid. Kept going until it was clear she was not going to win (110mph) and even then made a point of sticking as close to my rear as she could manage. Pi$$es me off.......kid in car and she was trying to race a REAL ZED. I really hate people at times
  18. Not another.......:( Hope all goes as well as it can Best wishes
  19. Think my starter is on its way out. Car starts but the starter sounds like crap. Load tested the battery and all seems well there. If it is the starter, does anyone here have an idea of replacement costs and what is involved? Cheers
  20. Can certainly go with the spoiler thing. The day I picked mine up after it had its low level spoiler fitted, I wrenched on the boot as usual with the final result of smacking myself in the jaw......yeah it hurt but no-one saw...... :slap: Replacement spoiler is a defo must IMO...even if you go with a fibreglass replica or tailgate skin
  21. About the same price as a manual conversion from what I`ve heard. I`ve had quotes from £1300-1450 Must be well worth it though if Maccas is still in one piece after all this time.....
  22. I might put the 20K into the pot for research into the Z32 4 wheel drive mod. Now that would be cool.
  23. Replaced mine last year due to the same type of problem. Had less than 5 years wear from it too. Laser pickup was duff I think. Looks like it might br time for a mini draw-out I`m afraid:cry:
  24. Have to agree You ever driven an S13 or S14? Lag is a problem. I hanve owned both an S13 and S14. The Zed has commensurably less lag than either. Can`t speak for the S15 mind you but IMHO you are best with hybrids. All the Best Me and Her

I only just found this part of the forum and was going to place an order with you. Steve is nuts about his Zed and would love this stuff. If you`re going to take it off the forum, what`s the chance of a one off for me? Please? Hope you can help Jen from JenbStevieB
