I think I have the Clifford Avantard or something, has remote start and all the extras including blackjack, but it's been almost 3 years since I started the engine and I don't have a clue what the bloody code is.. Fun times ahead !!! not. Are you sure that remote start doesn't affect the insurance. I'm sure when I listed the alarm they said that BlackJack was good but remote start was very bad.

I had the same problem, but seemed to sort itself out once I cleaned the Throttle boddies. Not sure this will help, but it solved my cranking problems.

Can't you just pull a vaccum pipe from the back of the plenumn to help it through emmisions. I'm sure there was a trick like this that seemsed to work I just can't remember the exact details.

Don't you just put it in D3 ? Not having an auto Z I don't really know, but I do have an auto Rover :)

That's what we both though this time last year :). But it's looking promising now, so I guess we will see. I just hope I get it back before the wedding. And definately before the baby is born, cause then I'll probably have to sell anyway.

I'm looking to get Sat Nav, got a few questions as I don't know much about it. * Is it easy to move fomr one car to another. I have 2 cars and would like to use it in both. * If I want to get a sat nav that covers Europe, do I need to buy a pre programmed model or can I just download maps from somewhere when I know I'm going to a certain country ?. * Any recommendations on what make model to go for ?. I don't want the top of the range ones, I just want something that's gonna get me from where I am to where i want to be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think the Aussie clocks only go to 160mph, that would also explain why he was driving on the right side.

I understand what you are saying. I made the horrible mistake of adding up how much I have spent on the car. In Summary paid £5k for it and spend almost 60k on it since late 2002. 60k fooking Grand, I could have had a really really nice car or even part of another house for that money. There comes a time where you either think about it realistically and throw in the towel or go balls out. Unfortunately I went balls out, and although I am very happy with the car - it's exactly how I wanted it to be. It's never gonna be worth even 25 % of what I have spent on it. I do regret spending all the time an money on the car, but we all make mistakes. Have a very long think about it. The Zed is a great car, but compare it's greatness with the money you may have to spend and it lowers the tone a great deal. All the best with your decision.

I switched to electric fan on mine, but have not had a chance to test it yet. However the short time I had the electric, I didn't notice any difference in the temp gauge.

Are you sure you want to do that mate ?. The spray is hard to get even and for every layer you put on your are looking at reducing the brighness of your lights by about 15% - 20%. I know a few people did tint thier rear lights (which I imagine are the lights you are reffering to). But this was many years ago and I think they have all change them now. I would have a long think about this first as I think it's a bit old school now.

Sorry to hear that mate. I guess there are no words anyone can say that will make you feel better. Time is the best healer. It sounds to me that you still want it to work so much. If that's the case it may be worth searching for the reason you have split and to see if there is anything that may make it work. If either of you have to change drastically, then sometimes it's just best to let it go. What ever decisions you make, I wish you all the best and hope things work out in the long run for you.
