  2. Almost, he started complaining that our cars should have been up on the ramps lol
  3. It's a bit too chuncky for my liking. don't like the front. As people said loose the stickers, colour code the front bumper fully, loose the rear spoiler and rear bumper and put something a little nicer in place. De-chunck the sides, i.e. make them a little smoother and I think it would be very nice.
  4. I've been told it will be ready by the time I come back from my honeymoon, so I hope to have it back in just under 3 weeks.
  5. Not sure who's Z this is but it's an interesting body kit  Picture taken at 14:47 at the enterance to the M1 in south yourkshire :xxx:
  6. If so, I bring you a little bit of relief. Just spoke to Martyn, the garage is not flooded as it is on higher ground, so your car is not under water, although I did have muchos funos winding Andy Line up on the phone just now saying that our cars were actually underwater... I was going to take it further with the residue in the water will cause all his gold plating to irode and rust, but I couldn't lower myself to that level. :duffer:

  8. CarlZ a fellow Romford Boy, Hello Neighbour :D
  9. I doubt it would have belonged to any subscribed member on here, otherwise he would have been told to swap the wheels straight away  Now you have it take the wheels off and put the left side on the right as they are round the wrong way form what I can see in the picture. congratz on your purchase, hope it brings you lots of fun and hassle free months / years.
  10. Got a picture ?. Much easier to recognise the car by pics :)
  11. As Chris says, if you have fuel and spark, then the only thing missing form the equation is compression. No compression usually means either sticky or unseated valves or broken landers on the piston(s). Get the compression checked on each of the cylinders once you know the injectors are firing and the plugs are sparking.
  12. May be a silly question, but did you have the Air con on for a long period of time and then only saw the steam once you stopped. Had this with mine, it was condensation dripping onto the red hot turbo's.
  13. TBH I think the spoiler fits in well with the rest of the body kit. If you were going to remove the spoiler it may look pretty good with just a tail skin on it. 99 spec rear lights would look very nice and I think the wheels if you are going to keep them, I would try getting them black chromed, but then with wheels that show allot of the internals, it would be an idea to clean up the brakes, i.e. drilled or groved gold cap brake discs and paint the capliars. Try putting the pics in the photoshop forum and ask people to remove the spoiler, change the wheels, put some 99 spec rears on, change discs and paint the calipars plus anything else you thing would look good. That way you can design your car before you actually spend any money or time.
  14. Nice one Do you have a side on view of before and after. I'm just wondering how different it looks as well as the difference it makes.
  15. Ok I'm bored at work and have an hour to kill so I thought I'd do a quick quizz for anyone else bored at work (or home). Sweets ...How many flavours can you get the sweet skittles in ? ...What were starburst previously called ? ...How many lbs in a kg ? ...Have Wagon Wheels got smaller since 10 years ago or were they always the same size ? ...Do they still make tutti frutti's ? Others ...What happened to the white dog shit you used to see as a child while walking down the road ?. Ok they have to pick it up now, but do dogs still have white shit or was it something in the pedigree chum in the early 80's ? ...Have you ever seen a baby pigeon ? ...Is a tomatoe a fruit or vegetable, what about an olive ? ...If a little old lady dropped a £10 note accidentially while walking down the street and you saw it would you give it back to her, how about if it was a fat rich bloke, would you do the same regardless of who it was ? ...Whilst sitting on the train or walking down the street and someone comes towards you, knowing full well that you would never do it, do you still think to yourself, what would happen if I head butted you right across the bridge of the nose right now ? ...Do you ever get tempted to shove your umbrella into the front spokes of a cyclist when they jump a red light in the city ? (For some reason my questions are now turning a little violent, so I'll stop there). Looking forward to the answers... :hyper:
  16. The owner of tesco named the 1st store of it's kind after his wife Tessa, his surename was Cohen. Or at least that's what I was told many years ago.
  17. Any chance you can wait until he finishes my car before you book yours in  . Just in case :x:
  18. The heads are apparently a common problem with the early Z32's (so I was told). I had a similar problem to mine when I first got it. Took it in and was told I had a sticky valve in the 6th Cylinder. I had a little pressure but the car ran lumpy like it had a coil pack unplugged (and we have all probably experienced that at least once). Heads were stripped off, valves were reseated on all cylinders and the heads were skimmed and refitted. ...... Same problem ...... Took it back, still low pressure on that cylinder, turned out to be a cracked ring on the piston:cry:
  19. beautiful mate, well done, you should both be very proud. Brings a tear to my eye
  20. Happy Birthday Pete, congratulations. :hyper:
  21. Yes easy to see that now after his essay, but that didn't come across clear in his first post. Anyway, back on track...
  22. You sure it's not the bonnet catch, try wrapping some electrical tape round the catch and see if that helps. Probably only sounds like the drivers side as you have the drivers window open. It's the most common cause of squeeking.
  23. hi mate, I should have the car back anyday now. So looking forward to making an appearence in the reborn silver streak :)
  24. Maybe it's you who should learn to be less racist
