I've gone for a Doolz induction set up (single AFM). I have a chip for it (thanks AndyP - not got the car back yet, but once I do I'll contact you for payment etc.). However after speaking to Eric about tick over he suggested I balance the air to the TB with a balance bar. i.e. something like this: I've managed to get a nice long piece of stainless steel tubing, but I will need to have my current Stainless Steel hardpipes fabricated with a nipple so I can attach the balance bar to it with some small silicone hoses. Any ideas where the best place to get this done would be ?

That was real funny I think the pictures may still be on this site somewhere I'll have a look about. The paint dries real quick so don't leave the tin open for too long or it will turn to goo. I'll see if I have a picture of mine somewhere, I painted my R34 Brembo's blue and then put a Brembo sticker on them, personally I think they look quite nice.

I've created a group on there called 300zx.co.uk. I've made it a free for all so you can do what ever you like in it. Just thought it would be nice to put a face to some of the names on here. The reason I got on there in the first place was a friend at work told me about it and I wanted to find some old school friends I'd lost touch with. It's a really good site and easy to use. I'm not on there to spend hours chatting, just to keep in touch with people and find old and present friends.

I got these form luke, he also managed to supply me with another spare hide so I could do the boot interior and some other bits. After doing the boot in leather and he gators for gear shift and hand brake, I still have enough left to do things like the sun visors, and targa lock panels.

Not my missus but one of my mates that I sold my 7series BMW to phoned me a few months after he bought it to tell me it's overheating. I told him to let the car cool down a bit and then check to see if the water needed topping up. He said he would call me back. I've put water in it but it still seems to be getting really hot really quick. How much did you put in ? About 3 litres. 3 litres ?. The resoviour only holds 2 ?. Where did you put it ? in the top where the picture of a small watering can with drips was. Needless to say I told him to turn off the engine and then got round to him for an engine flush and an oil and filter change followed by another oil and filter change 100 miles later.

You managed to skuff it any more yet Gumball ?. Those side skirts are a nightmare too. So many repair jobs had to be done on those.

Paul C has got to be a 3rd / 4th dan by now. Not sure if the recent love in his life has had an impact on his training though :). Done a few martial arts myself. Was training from the age of 4 constistantly up to 10 years ago when I was tempoary paralised. Always prefered full contact rather than the points system. Never really got back into the swing of it after that. Don't mean to be modestly but I was pretty shit hot. These days I couldn't punch my way out of a wet paper bag :nelson:.

I use Pinnacle Studio to do my capture editing. Just need a firewire cable (hopefully you camcorder will have one of these). It will be firewire --> USB cable. Plug it in, install any software or just use windows movie maker, which should be free with windows XP and above. Click the capture button on the pc with your Camcorder on (in video playack mode). The PC will send the signal to your camcorder to play and then record everthing it plays to a file. Once the capture is done you can then either edit your video, cutting the bits out you don't want, add some effects, put some titles in or even go a little more advance and create a dvd title screen so you can burn various movies onto one dvd and just put them under different titles on the first page. If you don't have a dvd recorder on your pc you can simple burn them in mpeg or avi forat as most dvd players these days will be able to play these types of file.
