  1. You gypo :D
  2. I have an electric fan on mine, seems to run cooler but I can not prove it. Other ways of gettting the cooling better. Bonnet vents and IC vents. removing the windscreen strip so that the air flows across the engine. Clearing out the water ways if they are over flashes. Aqua mist etc but obviously these are not going to be able to run constatly.
  3. If I remember rightly didn't Chris C say he was going to be in max power ? You got a scanner ? I would like to see this but don;t want to buy the mag. lol
  4. Different people have different opinions in the matter. Pistons are very debateable. Some say they are good for 600RWHP others say they are only good for 400 BHP. I guess it all depends on how well the car is tuned and how much detonation goes un noticed.
  5. You can never tell what a car is going to run just by the spec. There have been a few cars run on the same dyno on the same day with the same specs, seeing a difference of nearly 60rwhp. On stock turbo's, injectors and internals but with uprated cooling (rad, oil rad, ic's, electric fan) I hit 360RWHP which is about 425 BHP. Also I guess it totally depends on which Dyno you run on as well. Get yourself to Thor and get it measured that's the only way you will know. As far as BHP/ torque goes, I've always though of it this way. Get it measured and then start to modify, then get it measured again and the same place. This way you know what your money has given you. But at the end of the day if if feels fast and drives well, BHP don't mean jack :D
  6. LOL Mike you beat me to it with the ironing board gag  Nice one Paul - Need to come down and see you soon mate as these speakers and amp are clogging up my house.

Guys, I've spoken to Danny (smoothdude). The symptoms are as follows: When driving for 20 mins or so the car just cuts out (sounds like PTU right ?). However , when turning the ignition back on nothing electrical works i.e. lights, wipers etc. If Danny disconnects the battery ad leave it for some time and then connects it up again the car starts up ok. At first I thought that the alternator may not be charging the battery but then this would not explain why the car comes back to life after disconnecting for a while and then reconnecting. Once thing I forgot to ask you danny was, do you have an alarm with an immobiliser on the car ? This could be faulty and cause the car to cut out. Anyone else got any ideas or suggestions for Danny ?
  8. 2.5 years here. Totally standard and needed a bit of work when I bought her.
  9. Looks very nice mate. What skirts are they ? If you are going for the sleek look how about changing the t-bar to black. This seems to work well on Silver & White cars. It blends in with the window tints very well. Not the best PSP job as I'm at work and only had ms paint. :(
  10. Seen that on 300zxclub, was quite amused
  11. I will have a Tomei NA racing diff for sale soon. The missus has decided to change to a standard NA rear diff. The Tomei is great for drifting and straight line acceleration but it's just too clunky whilst accelerating round corners in day to day driving.
  12. No vibration though the brake pedal means that it's not the brakes. No Vibration though the steering wheel sterring wheel means it's not the front wheels. Starts at about 30 mph most noticable around 50 - 60. Sound right ?. If so , it could be Rear Wheel bearings.
  13. Fabricated half inch pipe
  14. :D. Looking good James. When's phase 2 kicking in ?
  15. Try fitting a supressor between the radio and the amp if you have one.
  16. Becuase the Z32 was first up for sale in the late 80's
  17. Merry christmas mate :D. I stopped buying computer games after I got Eve online.
  18. It's still in the country until I finished with it mate, then it's going out of the country :) lol. I'l fill you in on the details later when I get them :).
  19. Hi Si, How's tricks mate ? I'm still waiting for the pics mate ;). Yeah my car was put on hold for a short while but once Christmas is out of the way I'll be getting back to it. Hoping to have it all ready for around March / April once it gets back into the country ;)
