It's Been Emotional, but I have to step down
As some of you may have noticed I have been absent from the forum for some time now. This is due to other commitments outside of the club which have taken priority. I have decided to step down as club secretary in order to open up the position to someone else who can dedicate more time to the club as a whole. I have enjoyed most of the time I have spent in the committee and would like to thank all those of you that voted for me as Club Secretary. Sorry if you feel I have let you down but sometimes things change along the path of life and the only way to keep up is to change with them. I will be stepping down to Member status where my roots are and hope to be actively participating in all the fun/banter/help & advice shortly again shortly. Look after yourselves and if I don’t speak to you before, Have a great Christmas and a happy new Year. :duffer: Stuart :smw:

I helped SMW1 Strip the other day????
Yep if anyone needs any cheap socket extsions snapped, Marks your man :) On a serious note, I really appreciated you help Mark :), I would also like to say thanks so Mike Groves and MTL who have also lent a hand at various stages. crank pulley bolt !!
Yep with Jaffa on this bit. Put it in 5th gear as it take more to turn the pulley that way. in first you can still (given enough strength) turn the engine. Anything to mention is that when you undo any bots in the engine you want to use the jerk technique  rather than putting constant pressure on the bolt which may cause it to heat and bend.

A BIG thankyou to the Following people....
Not sure I deserve the thanks. I feel like I let you down. Glad it was a good day though. I got back late afternoon. I had to wait an hours for the RAC to send a tow truck FFS . And another hours for a demountable.

Wheel spacers Good/Bad/Dangerous?
I had to put 5mm spacers on the front when I put my R33 GTR bembo's on. I was worried about the amount of thread left on the bolts so I changed the bolts for longers ones and get more turns now than I did with the stock brakes and no spacers.

Koyo and Howe rad brackets
True but this bracket looks the nuts. I have the same one for my Howe but without the Holes. I imagine the holes are there to let a bit more heat out but not sure if it would make enough difference to really effect performance.
