Here come da mods!!
I think there was someone on here that has done a black / Orange paint job similar to what you are describing. Chuck a picture of the car up and someone may be able to photoshop it to give you a better idea of what it would look like.

Have I missed anything in the last month ?
I've been away for almost a month. Had Internet access but decided not to use it. Can anyone provide a summary of what's happened in this time ? Anything interesting ?.

Maddest thing u've done in ur Z?!
The maddest thing I've done is hand my car over for what was a 3 week engine build only to get it back 3 years later. Welcome to the forum.

Hullo everyone...
Welcome. I'm in East London / Essex. Insurance depends on the modifications you have. With mine becuase I have over 90 modifications to the standard, I was very limited to what insurance companies would touch me. I ended up going with Sky Insurance. Garages, don't really know any in the area at all to be honest. Not ones that I would trust anyway. I maintain, service and repair and problems myself, much cheaper, quicker and I know I can trust me :)

the stripping comences
Well done mate, glad you are not breaking it. Good luck and I hope it's not too much of a pain.

gutted
I can't imagine it would be that hard. What the reason you can only have one or the other ?. Limitations in the fuse box ? If so just run an inline fuse straight to the battery.

stock internals?
My advice would be never run your car maxing out a component, You are only going to reduce the lifespan of it. If you run 14 psi constantly on stock urbo's and injectors, one drop of bad fuel and you're getting det, don't notice it or it happens too much, then you're gonna crack your landers between the piston rings. If you are thinking of putting 555 injectors in just to get another 2 psi, the tub's will be blowing hot air out and be working to thier maximum constantly especially if you stick with stock IC's. Keep this up you're going to have replace them real son due to leaking seals or misaligned compressor/turbine wheels. Play it safe, run at 12.5 - 13 psi max and leave the margin or error gap for bad fuel. There really is no point in changing your injectors without changing the turbo's unless of course your injectors are faulty and you don't have the money to do the turbos at the same time.

Stock Rods are already forged, are they not ?

Hi, my name is Mark and I`m an addict
I gave up for 4 years then started again about 2 years ago. Gonna do it for good at the end of this year.

intercooler pipe came off - sounds awsome!
Please don't suggest that people try this. it's not good for the engine at all. If small particles are sucked in then you not only risk your turbines chopping themselves up but you also risk scratching your cylinder walls.

Setting TPS
It should be between 0.42 and 0.44 for an idle setting. I can't remember the exact wire you back prob for the tps settings. I'm sure it's the center one with the earth on the battery earth.

Shuts itself off at around 3000rpm or when hitting a bump
Just read through this. Talk about confusing :) If the CAS is unplugged your injectors will not fire and you will not be able to start the car let alone rev to 3k rpm. No power above 3000 RPM + lumpy idle will always point directly at the MAF. Lumpy Idle but full rev range will point at the PTU or the CAS.

Project Silver Streak 6 years on
I have to agree with you Mark. In one way I'm quite happy to keep it as the money from sale wil purely be used for propety investment. So I'm in no rush as we don't need it yet and if I sold now it would just sit in the bank gathering dust :). So I'm sure I'll still have it for another 6 months or so. Unless someone obviously makes me a better ofer than the two I've already had.
