what is, & what causes wastegate chatter?
Goose honk doesn't cause damage, it's just bloody annoying. When people get goose honk they useually fit bovs (dump valves) because the other choice is fitting new recircs which are double the price and will probably give up a few years down the line anyway. Recircs were designed to work with the standard air box. It's like everything with this car, you change one thing, you throw a stone in the pond, you will get ripples.

should i go lower?
It would look better lowered but I would be worried about the side skirts if you lower it. Any speed humps round your way ? Mine sits higher than it should, but we have too many speed bumps in and around london.

Crystal corners and Stillen bumper
I bought some crystal corners a little while back and tried to fit them this weekend. They don’t want to fit into my Stillen bumper. The reason is because for the way the bulb inserts are angled, which is different form the original JDM ones. Anyone else had this problem with any other bumper ?

Thinking about that. Will we have enough day light for good pictures ?. I know nothing about photography so excuse my ignorance, but I would have though that at 6pm it's gonna be pretty dark and cold.

Christmas Meet
I think we have our wires crossed Tony :). In my comment I was reffering to my post. For the last 3 posts yourself and Darkside have been talking about the photoshoot and then I post up totatlly changing the subject and talking about how I washed my car, which has nothing to do with what you two were talking about. Hense my comment "What has this got to do with camera's and the photo shoot ?. Absolutely fook all !!!" :D

Christmas Meet
I gave the motor a good clean yesterday and was going to cover it until the weekend. I found the cover in the shed (customer 300zx cover) but it was a little dirty so I stuck it in the washing machine. By the time it was washed and dried, it has started to rain. Then this morning the car was covered in frost. I guess I'll be washing it again on Saturday. What has this got to do with camera's and the photo shoot ?. Absolutely fook all !!!

New exedy clutch - OMFG !!!
^^ Yup as above ^^ If you've got that lot off you may want to replace your gear shift bushes while you are there. To test if you need to replace then, put the car in gear (engine off) and see if there is much side to side movement on the gear stick. If there is you're bushes are worn. It's not essential you replace them but it will give you a much better feel to the gear stick if you do.

300zx impression
My mums been in mine. She kept saying slow down slow down. I never even went over 3k rpm LMAO !!. It is very tempting when you have someone like that in the car just to nail it, but my mums 64 and I wouldn't want to litterally scare the life out of her :).

New exedy clutch - OMFG !!!
It's probably just your grommet that has been incorrectly fitted. Under the leather around your gear stick there is a plate which holds the stick in place, this is incased in a rubber grommet. The symptoms that this is loose is when you can hear the noise more in a certain ear. i.e. 3rd or 5th ( means the bottom of the grommet is not fitted correctly) 2nd or 4th (top of the grommet is not fitted correctly).

Fitted C clamps and polished it up a bit :D
Don't bother with the T-bolts from e-bay. Unless you get the exact size you need they won't fit. Even if they do fit you can't get them tight enough to hold. I bought three different sizes to see if I could get a good fit. Ended up with 3 boxes or T clamps that were as useful as a pair of swimming trunks in the arctic.

Another Ebay 380hp Claim
360 sounds about right. He's not claiming 360RWHP only 360 hp. If he has induction, zorst and chip and is running 14 psi he may even be pushing more. I was running 370BHP with stock injectors and turbo's so it's easily achievable with what he has.

Faulty window! Grrrrr....
The rollers that hold the window in place are maybe loose or worn. Had the same problem on my windo, it went down but wouldn't go up, or would go up a little then jsut slowed right down until it go to the top and stopped. The rollers at the bottom of the window that connect to the X frame were worn and the window lip kept slipping off of them.
